| Re: Byron and Mary - The New Thread I agree that this has probably happened before. THis could be a reason why they have not married yet. I know my hubby had a drinking problem before we got married. We dated almost 9 years (some was real rocky) and I refused until he quit drinking. It now has been 28 years since he has had a drink. Now we don't miss it. Alcohol can be a major problem. When it is one then you are really an Alcholic if you continue drinking. Sometimes you have to love someone more. If you can't you might as well tell the relationship goodbye. I don't know if he has a drinking problem or not but if so I hope he addresses it as well. |

| Re: Byron and Mary - The New Thread wow, that 911 call is disturbing/shocking and even worse since it was a day after their appearance on the ATFR, as one of only two couples in love was broadcast. After hearing it, can you guess what he was really saying to himself as he sat there when Mary said "we're getting married in November!" ?!? Next tv appearance will be Dr. Phil for them! |

| Re: Byron and Mary - The New Thread So, Byron was sober enough to determine that he didn't want to be around the couple that was already aruging/fighting, but that Mary didn't want to leave. Now my question is....why didn't Mary want to leave too? Apparently Byron could tell that things made get out of hand with the other couple and wanted to leave. I personally think that Mary may be the one with a drinking problem. jmo I also agree that it might be the reason that they have not gotten married. In spite of all of this, it seems that they do love each other faults and all. That's unconditional love. It will be very interesting, imo, to see where things go from here with them. |

| Re: Byron and Mary - The New Thread maybe the split lip attracted the fish, because I don't think that he was doing so hot recently
