9/24 Show Discussion Thread **SPOILERS**

Thank you, bloomer. I thought it was DeAnna but wasn't sure. Do you mean she might have said it in defense of someone or to make one of the women feel better? Is it from episode 2? It's kinda nagging away at me as I like DeAnna but wish that comment had not come from her. What do yo think the big clue from the 1st night might be?

We think that someone said something to hurt Jenni's feelings. The question is whether she is crying on DeAnna's shoulder, and DeAnna makes the remark in general which is not that bad, or is Jenni accusing DeAnna of talking badly about her, and DeAnna makes the remark as a comeback? (Not good edit)

Somebody has said that later they think Bettina makes a remark about someone being "a slut and a liar" which if true is not a good edit either, and Bettina is looking very good for the F1 slot. Jenni is getting lots of attention very early which is usually not a good edit for F1.

I am trying to remember whether it was episode 2 or 3 that the shading of bad editing began to occur for Bevin. The pool episode for sure was not good, and I knew that didn't bode well for F1 regardless of how physically attracted to her Andy was and how much he talked about it either.

I like DeAnna. I know that Brad has an attraction to her, so I am going to watch the editing carefully for little things to see if they begin to build up like they did against Bevin. He also has an attraction for Jenni and Bettina. The F1 will not have anywhere near as much poor editing. You might see a few things, but Fleiss doesn't want you to dislike his winner, so he won't put a negative spin on her like he did Bevin last season.

We'll watch and see what happens!

I think I must be the only one not getting why Bettina looks like the F1. We've heard that she was recently divorced. Brad doesn't sound like a guy who would be put off by the divorce, but if he's using his head, the "recently" should give him some pause. I mean...the girl needs some time to sort stuff out...and maybe have the standard transitional relationship before she's ready to hop into True Love. I hope he is discerning enough to realize this.

Do we know whether or not Brad was aware of the recent divorce from the outset? It should not be an issue but let's hope it came out in a discussion on that 1st night and not 3 episodes down the road. Fleiss doesn't seem to have an excess of imagination. Perhaps the PTB need some new direction. On the other hand we never know whether they are veering off course or not and that keeps us watching. Ho Hum. And, Bloomers, it certainly will be interesting to watch the spin begin on Monday and will it be obvious to some of us? Last season I had Tessa pegged from the start but then spent the whole time second guessing myself.

I dont' think Bettina had any obligation on the first night to shout out that she was 'the married one'. On episode 2 she wanted to tell him but didn't feel confident in getting a rose and with still 14 other girls in play = again no need to reveal just yet.

Bevin should've told Andy about her divorce during the casino date, the opportunity was there and I believe their attraction was evident enough that andy wouldn't have made it more of an issue than he did when he did find out. I don't think her revelation at any point would've change he outcome of season 10, but I think it was in poor taste to wait until the HT dates to tell him.

After next week we're down to top 9 - and with Bettina getting a one on one, it's time for them to figure out if they really like each other enough, should she receive a rose (and I'm pretty confident she will) then I think it's time to reveal the divorce. And like Bevin I don't think it will matter in the outcome of the game/show.

and just another thought - considering all the things we learn about the ladies on the first night - i think the ONLY thing I would expect one of them to reveal is if they have a child. If the bachelor feels this is a deal breaker, he needs to know it right away and as a mom I would want to know if he had an issue with it. Remember the single mom on Charlie's season - they made it such an issue, but I don't think there was a strong connection between them enough to want to pursue going further.
