I loved Travis too. I missed the story about lawyers. What happened?

The story is that Vanderbilt University Medical Center had their lawyers rewrite Travis contract. They had to give him permission to miss part of his residence to do the show. TPTB also paid off his medical school debts

Thanks for posting the Andy Baldwin interview. I think he is a wonderful young man who gives a lot to his country and mankind. As a family therapist, I see his relationship problems as consistently choosing the wrong woman. There's a definite pattern. I hope he can break it and find a woman to share his lfe with.

IMO the women are lucky they got away from the fame driven Mr. Baldwin, his picture taking was more important to him than the women he chose to try and establish a relationship with. IMO Mr. Baldwin gives to his country what is expected of him, he is in the military and that is part of his job.

As a student at VUMC, I would not doubt that at all. VUMC is very, very good at taking care of the their students and employees. Good for him for not having his reputation destroyed by the show!

A bit player in the Matt Grant series, Lesley Geyer (the "Firedrake" girl, for those who [obsessively] followed Bach 12!) has opened her own lingerie shop for those of you in Tampa!

Lingerie boutique new addition to Hyde Park Village - St. Petersburg Times

HYDE PARK — Lesley Geyer probably would have opened her Hyde Park lingerie boutique a bit sooner, but not finding love kind of got in the way.

She graduated from the University of Florida in just 2 1/2 years in 2004, after bringing in course credits and buckling down over the summers. The business major knew it would be only a matter of time before she started her own business. But before making the final plans to open the Pink Petticoat this week in Hyde Park Village, she allowed for a few distractions.

Last year, Geyer, 24, was one of 25 women picked as bachelorettes for ABC's The Bachelor: London Calling. The idea, she said, was her cousin's: "I had never seen (the show) before."

In the end, she didn't get to know British bachelor Matt Grant very well — Geyer was one of 10 who didn't make it to the second round.

Still, she had fun. "It was a nice several weeks' vacation in LA," said Geyer, a 2002 graduate of the Academy of the Holy Names who recently has served as a youth minister for St. Mary Catholic Church in Tampa. "I was not there really expecting to find love. I have a wonderful boyfriend right now who is very happy that I didn't."

After the few months' derailment, her plans for the Pink Petticoat got back on track. She said the 940-square-foot shop, behind the Wine Exchange in the newest area of the village, is an ideal marriage of her business goals and one of her favorite indulgences.

Some women like shoes, some go for handbags, Geyer said. But "I'm a bra and panty girl. I like nice lingerie and matching sets. There's really nothing like that around here."

Geyer's store carries higher- end lingerie, pajamas and yoga sets from lines like OnGossamer, Oscar de la Renta, Lilly Pulitzer, Betsey Johnson, Hanky Panky and Elle McPherson.

The store also has gift items, and Geyer said she is more than happy to work with the more traditional type of bachelorette. The store will offer wedding registries and Geyer will travel to local bridal and lingerie showers.

Hours at the Pink Petticoat are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 to 8 Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 on Sunday.

I always thought that she got a raw deal being kicked out for doing the obvious (online research here at FORT) before showing up to the first cocktail party with Matt.

Turned out great for her romantically (see reference to boyfriend), which is INVARIABLY the case post-show.

But still, if you are in the Tampa area, you can visit Lesley at her shop it appears!

Okay..I wanna know if the rumor about Dandy Andy doing the wedding as the minister for Deanna/Jesse it true or not?

BTW...I kinda barfed when she suddenly chose Jesse...I just never saw that coming. But I have to say in looking at their pics and such...they do seem to be meant for each other. She is much more a Tom boy than I thought. And they actually seem to have fun together.

I would love to be a fly on the wall and watch her rag on him though. I wonder how long he will be able to tolerate her little comments about things he does? Hmmm...

It's not true. K9mom has email contact with DeAnna and she is one person I trust who says that DeAnna told her it wasn't true. (I've heard from three different people who had direct contact with DeAnna and Jesse about it, they all said the same thing.)
