When Andy was sitting on the beach after his run, and said "I could propose to two women today" I was waiting for him to have both ladies come out at the same time and say "Have you ever seen the show Big Love? Have you ever wanted to make a reality version of it?"

Did she really just suddenly fall in love with him? I really hope so, b/c I want this season to have been successful after dedicating so much of my time to it.

But, part of me wonders if she didn't just succumb to the process and realize what it took to win. I just have a problem with the fact that within 24 hours she went from "unsure" of her feelings for Andy to wanting to marry him.
I think you have hit the nail on the head. We all have a competative nature and Fleiss forces this to be part of the show each and every time

Yes, it does seem weird, maybe he's just doing it for the tv, being unsure. I think he knew who he wanted to be with, just did it for the drama, tv.

While I give Andy and Tessa my best wishes for their relationship, I'm struggling over Bevin's heartache.

I finally "saw" the Tessa love when she presented him with the collage. Up to that point it was always Andy wanting to fall in love with her. In hindsight (that wonderful tool) the Bevin theme really turned out to be unlucky in love, and Tessa's theme - doubts assail but goofiness prevails.

Bevin being muted by emotional overload tore at my heart. I can relate. My only wish is that she would have refused to allow him to escort her to the limo. She entered the show on her own and she would leave the show on her own.

Right now even the thought of a sunset makes me sick. Next time - no sunsets - no horrific edits - and no women with personalities or free spirits. Fleiss should be able to manage that.

I sure hope not, for Tessa's and Bevin's sake. If this is the case, then he is a complete and total jerk undeserving of either on of them.

I don't know why he toyed with Bevin the way he did...but, I can only come up with one of two explanations:

    1. He felt the things he said to her. If that is the case, then, IMO, that negates this "undeniable love" he claims to have felt for Tessa. You don't go from loving two people to wanting to marry just one of them, and if this is the reason he treated Bevin the way he did, he should not have proposed. He should have handled with the class that Charlie O'Connell did and demand more time (can't believe I just said that ).

    2. He did not feel the things he said to her. If this is the case, then he is indescribably cruel and undeserving of both of them. He could have continued the farce for Fleiss without telling her that he loved her. Regardless of how he meant it (the whole "love" versus "in love" copout), the context in which he said it undoubtedly implied "in love".

Either way, it is hard for me to respect him after last nights show. I wish Tessa and him the best and hope they survive and can "fall in love all over again" like they claim to be trying to do.

After re-watching the show, I think Bevin knew on that last date. She wasn't all over him and initiating things in quite the same way and she was very melancholy the next morning. Her PIs that day seemed to indicate she knew and that she was just finishing out the show.

Just like I felt Tanya knew in Bryon's season. Tanya handled everything very gracefully at first, then when they got to the car, she made her negative comments, which seemed very staged to me.

Also, I think the very first "I freakin' love you" when standing on the balcony was a total Fleiss voice over edit. Bevin's reaction and response didn't fit.

I still feel bad for Bevin having to go through what she did.

I've been told that... it's excruciating, but it can happen. Physical attraction is not a good thing to base a marriage on... that kinds of lust just doesn't often last a lifetime.

but that's the thing... she kept saying "he didn't love me" and he didn't love her in the way you love someone you want to marry...

Andy loved Bevin like a friend,,, he didnt love her like a fiance/future wife... and that's what she was coming to grips with.... she was realizing that he only loved her like a friend so she kept repeating... "He didn't love me"

She was just then having to face what HIS.... "I love you" meant.....

Bevin knew what her "I love you" to Andy meant and she figured his meant the same..... poor girl.

I think I'd be repeating it too if a guy nuzzled, kissed and cooed to me that he "loved me".... that's NOT how you tell a friend of the opposite sex that you love them.

Just my opinion but I think Andy is a rat for telling Bevin he loved her.

It would have been very easy for him to use the show as an excuse to not reveal his feelings to her and then she wouldnt have to accept that he was necking with her and said "I love you" only to find out that he didnt.

This is such a valid point and why I think there is so much deserved disgust for Andy today.

I wish them well, but Andy really disappointed me at the end...do we blame Andy or Fleiss...in my mind both
