I had the impression that Tessa really enjoyed all aspects of the carrier date and perhaps decided to begin lowering her defences here. Did you notice how excited she looked when the helicopter was circling overhead?

I agree, Doats. Tessa's a sweetheart and I definitely see a connection between the two of them.

I like her because she has a very genuine smile and seems like someone you'd want to know. I don't think the show has portrayed her as particularly interesting, so far, but I can tell from the outside info. (articles) about her that she'd be well suited to Andy.

I agree she is the hottest one on the show. Andy had gone with a lot of southern belles though- clearly the producers chose mostly southerners in the 25 original cast.

someone should do a study- I know I could tell just by their hometowns that at least 50% were southerners..

we will see. he is the first military guy she has ever dated- we will see if their backgrounds are similar enough

I gather you live in Hawaii or are from Hawaii. I have lived here most of my life and my son is a hapa. He married a Filipino girl and I have two gorgeous grandchildren (see avatar). Tessa does indeed look like a local girl, I would guess she's hapa (Chinese/Caucasian). He has probably dated local girls since he seems to like the dark haired exotic type. I sense that he is drawn to her, has a little crush, and is his favorite at this point. She seems to echo his feelings and the chemistry between them is palpable. After their dual date with Peyton, I saw a strong attraction from both of them toward each other. I hope she's the one he picks. She seems to be the most compatible with the least baggage (as far as we know).
