Bevin - Bachelor 10

The show is over, and I do think Bevin is trying to move on. Both girls are great girls, and each have their wonderful qualities and traits. Andy is the one who really disappointed me in this show's ending. He went in wanting to find a "wife"..was ready for marriage, but went over the line telling two women he loved them. I'd be hesitant if I had been either girl, now...looking back. If I were Bevin, Id be glad, and if I were Tessa, I'd run.

And sorry, but I cannot get over her having those pics of her and Andy as her pic on myspace. The pic is the one you put of yourself, or representative of yourself...why oh why would you put a pic of yourself with a guy who not only dumped you, but is engaged to someone else.

Bevin isn't showing any respect to Tessa at all!

After seeing Bevin on ATFR I thought, okay I absolutely misjudged her, but you know what - I didn't misjudge her, not at all. I pity her.

I do think that Andy's a well-meaning guy, though. However, I think that in many many ways he's pretty self-absorbed, and that he also doesn't have a clue to how self-absorbed he is. Which makes him a problem for romantic partners, period.

I also think that both Bevin and Tessa will ultimately come around to the views you recommend.

People are really hung up on this I love you stuff, but we have no idea of the context, or how, when, why etc. I wouldn't put so much stock into that.

I don't think Bevin is moving on as she should. Remember, for us this show ended only a short time ago...for her it has been over for months. And, she is still using pics of herself with Andy as per picture on myspace. She is a strange one.

I don't know if I agree with this as I have known people who had just broken up with someone or had been broken up with who met the love of their life immediately after. Some of these couples had very short courtships where they would have said "I love you" to someone else and in a short amount of time were proposing and meaning it to the love of their life. Sometimes things change quickly. As to Tessa Andy and Bevin, the fact that Bevin isn't angry right now shows that she has forgiven him, if she was even angry at him in the first place, and Tessa loving Andy, keep in mind they have now had time both while show was airing and now for their love to grow. Andy had plenty of time to explain what and why he did during the process w/Bevin to Tessa. Tessa doesn't seem to think any of this is a red flag so I am not sure why we should. Hey to each their own, and I am obviously watching the show from a different viewpoint and that's okay. I just don't want anyone to miss the love of their life because that person may be just coming out of another relationship as none of us knows what the future holds and it would be tragic to miss the best thing because we thought it was a red flag.

You know, I have gone back and forth about Bevin. I have disliked her actions, then I have liked her actions. I have tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, many times.

But, the myspace pic, what the heck is up with that??? It's so rude and disrespectful to Andy and Tessa it's making my head spin. UGH!!!

I really don't get why Bevin is foolish to believe Andy's ILY, but not Tessa. In the context of this show, and ILY is an ILY. Yes, in the outside world, there are different levels of love, but on TB, people, especially the F2 are only interested in one type of love. Regardless of how HDA now says he meant it (which I call total BS and a copout), there was only one reasonable way for Bevin to interpret what he meant.

And, to be "strung along" as Andy "had to do" is one thing, but to bring the word "love" into the situation is just wrong on so many levels. And, the fantasy dates happened just days before the final dates, so why is it so far fetched to think that saying ILY at the FD is really all that much different than on the final date.

Regarding if any other bachelor has ever said ILY, I find it really hard to believe that Fleiss would not show it if it had been said. HDA was a goldmine for Fleiss and his antics.

I totally know how you feel on this as I too have been going back and forth about Bevin and had been since the very first episode. In some ways she seems to be handling herself gracefully (ATFR, FRC etc) and in others seems a little bit insecure and immature (manipulating situations w/her injury, picking argument/attacking Amber about her age, saying she would get sick if Tessa was chosen etc.) I don't know if these are a) two sides of her personality, or b) our perception of events being how the show was edited/her handling of situations later in the media/public (TVBevin theory) but I just can't seem to put my finger on it. On one hand she is telling her fans that Andy and Tessa really did find love, that she is moving on etc and on the other you have the leaked video and the constant myspace photos of a relationship that is long dead making fans mad at her seeming disrespect for a relationship that is alive and well. Maybe some of you that post on Bevin's myspace as a friend can give us some insight to this as the latter may be more correct than the former (TVBevin isn't real Bevin etc.) I can't help going back and forth on her. I want to believe that she is moving on as she could be missing out on something greater if she is clinging to something that won't be (see my last post on this issue.) Her Mr. Right could be right there and if she hasn't moved on she could miss it which would be really sad to me as I do think that deep down Bevin is a good person. I am still trying to give her the benefit of the doubt.

The bottom line in my eyes, is I DO NOT think Andy went on a mission to mislead Bevin, I think he really did care for her, even love her, But he went way way to far given the situation they were in.
He was there looking for the love of his life, a wife, a mother to his children, and because of that he should have reserved the I Love you's for THAT 1 person.
Everyone that participated in that show knew going into it, that, as marketed by tptb, Andy was ready for marriage, he was really looking for his solemate. And then watching the show, it really appeared that indeed that was why he was there...so as a participant, especially final 2, the guy says "ILY too, I just really do", how else should Bevin have taken it? I too have friends that I tell I love them, and I do love them, but my ILY is not followed by me laying on top of them making out.
The ILY's that Andy said were not friend I love you's, and example of that would be if you go back and watch the Ellen interview, he is talking/joking about Erin, and he says, to the camera, "Erin, I love ya" That was indeed a Friendly ILY and such a cute clip too.
