| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 I hadn't been a "Bevin fan" for most of this series and think that Andy made the right choice, but I also think that he was really unnecessarily cruel to Bevin and that she really took it better than I would have. I have more respect for her now than I did before, and I hope that now she has more respect for herself than to get into a situation of dating someone who is dating 24 other people. Good luck to Bevin.

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 I think Andy's biggest mistake (and he made several BIG ones) was in the way he tried to comfort and console Bevin as he was telling her goodbye. I noticed that for most of the hugs, her arms were hanging limp by her side. I didn't get the feeling that she was looking for comfort and support from him. She was mad at the guy! He was being rather selfish to take on that role for her, uninvited, to make himself feel better about the whole thing. |

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 well I wondered whether or not Andy had ever bothered to watch any of the prior seasons of the show he had gone on. I've watched many (hangs head in shame) and most of the prior bachelors have given the ladies some hints as to what was coming. I know the producers edit that all out for the drama of it all, but don't tell her that you love her, for crying out loud, when you're picking someone else a day later and proposing. He probably didn't really realize that he could have been breaking it to her gently without Fliess coming in with a stun gun, but I know it has been the case in prior years. At least tell her that you're torn or you're confused or something, not "I love you" in your last date if you really don't know. ![]()

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 Wondering why everyone is so certain that Bevin went out with class? Is it because she didn't yell at him? I really thought she was biting her tongue because she wanted to yell, but ouch, not on TV. Was her being silent and not saying a word, classy? was it classier than, say Sadie who told Lorenzo that he was a wonderful man and hoped for nothing but happiness for him? Was it classy because it was not filled with the same 4-letter words as Amber used? |

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 I think it was very classy of Bevin to leave silently. Andy was fast and loose with his words with her, she was DONE with him. I don't blame her one bit. |

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 I felt really sorry for Bevin last night. Though I have called her a whiner etc. and was always on Team Tessa, Dandy shouldn't have pawed her the night before if he knew he was going to choose Tessa. If I were Tessa, I'd be pretty angry watching the tapes of him making out with another woman the night before he proposed to her. And unless he was edited to sound that why, WHY would he have such a difficult decision choosing one or the other. IF that's the case, he shouldn't have proposed to either of them. Deciding who you're going to marry shouldn't be that difficult of a choice. I think he knew for quite a while (by Bachelor days, I mean) that he was going to pick Tessa. If that were the case, he should've been a gentleman and not pawed the other girls so much, which gave them false hope. He could've kept reminding them that he "loved them like a sister or a friend" so they they had it in their heads that he didn't feel "that way" about them. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. BTW, I thought both women looked very lovely last night. Tessa glowed in her blue dress. But it broke my heart a little to see Bevin standing there looking so pretty in red and crying. BAD ANDY! |

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 I found Bevin's dumping WAY more emotional and heartfelt then Tessa's proposal. I do think he was hedging his bets up until the very end. Andy wanted Bevin to tell him that it was okay and that she understood, this way he could still be "Mr. Nice Guy". I am glad she didn't, because it isn't. Actually, I wish she hadn't allowed him to comfort her. | |
