| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 Bevin just about broke my heart last night (and yes I'm a Tessa fan). You could tell she was devastated and shocked. It appeared she couldn't even speak, could barely hold herself up and definitely didn't trust herself to say anything to Andy. This is the worst part of the show for me, regardless of who wins, someone loses, and it is for entertainment purposes... |

I feel that way too, and it is kind of crappy that it's for entertainment purposes. However, that's half our fault -- If we object, we shouldn't watch it -- and half the women's fault -- Nobody *has* to go on a show like this to find a partner; and you know going in that your odds aren't good -- 1 out of 25 will actually get a *shot* at making a go with this person. Honestly, I think Bevin said it best early in the show when she said that she could understand the younger women coming on, since they have years ahead of them yet to find something permanent, but she wondered what *she* was doing there and why she wasn't back at home dating somebody who wouldn't be "dating" 24 other women with cameras stuck in their faces all the time. So she knew going in how big the risk was, and the it might be kind of dumb to get involved in it when you were old enough to feel the need to be very serious about finding a partner. I assume they hounded her and others quite a bit to do the show, though, since they wanted smart, nice, solid women for Andy. | |

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 I thought she did a great job by not responding to him! She held her head high and life will go on for her.

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 I think Bevin did a terrific job last night. Not responding to Andy put him in his place and I liked the fact that in the limo she stated that "this would not kill her, she would pick herself up and be stronger." I was VERY worried about how she would handle herself. I could just see her saying that she could not leave there without him and I would understand after he led her on so badly the last few nights. I knew all along that Tessa fit Andy's mold of a brunette woman like the ones from his past and she is an elegant person, but I don't think Andy can deal with her unsettled ways. I don't think either of these relationships would have a great outcome, but I totally see why ABC had to recruit Tessa, b/c Andy had a "mold" Bevin, I was a fan of yours b/c you were so invested and I could see myself giving a man like Andy my all, but at least you understand that this process is not a viable way to find love and you know Tessa must be steaming hot after viewing that last night. You guys were smokin'! Your new song for Andy should be "Don't Cha" by the Pussycat Dolls. Good luck! |

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 I wish the best for Bevin. To be lead on like that and then dumped was just brutal. I'm sure there is some great guy out there for her. She just needs to go find him!! Best of luck to her!! |

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 I agree with those who have said that Bevin did a great job of holding on to her dignity and keeping her head held high. I was one who was pulling for Tessa, but I was very impressed with the way Bevin handled herself. But I have to say ... Her mom seemed like a smart, caring woman. Why oh why didn't she teach her daughter to wear waterproof mascara when you're going into a situation where you'll likely cry? Let's be honest - whether she was chosen or not, there was good reason to believe that the tears would be flowing for her. She's on national TV -- where's the waterproof mascara? |

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 I honestly think Bevin was just blindsided and speecless, that is why she had nothing to say. She honestly just couldn`t believe he was sending her away. I was very suprised by her non dramatic exit. I do feel bad for her, she looked genuinely crushed.
