There IS electricity between Andy and Bevin, it's obvious and they admit it. I think it's sweet! Can't wait to see the final episode.

Did you see the same Tahoe episode I did? Bevin whining and complaining about not being able to get ready, Tessa hugging her and helping her put on her makeup? (as if her ankle had anything to do with that?) Then pouting to manipulate Andy into giving her some special attention, which she had been whining about wanting from the get go as if a special trip to the hospital, the private time in Tahoe, the kayaks and all the other times he came out to her weren't good enough. I think she has major insecurity issues and is clingy and that won't bode her well with a man who she may have to spend lots of time away from due to his career. If he chooses Bevin, more power to him!

Tessa is a grounded, mature, secure woman who hasn't felt the need to fawn all over Andy to get his attention. For God's sake, this woman has been through a lot of counseling training to become a social worker and that alone creates great strength. She is taking it slow, which is actually pretty fast considering the taping is only done in a number of weeks. Well, that's my take on it plus the fact that Andy said we'd see the love story unfold, sorry but no love story "unfolded" with Bevin, she just flew right into Andy from the get-go.

If Bevin does win, ABC will have shot itself in the foot (or the head) with this franchise. Her editing has been horrendous, emphasizing every negative about her. I don't personally care who wins, but I'd be hoppin' mad if I were Andy if he chose Bevin.

ITA. This show is really cruel in that respect, but I guess that's what people like to watch. Personally, I can't believe people still apply to be on this show. I could never lay my heart on the line like that, knowing that people are watching and judging and knowing that the guy I'm falling for is doing the same thing with a bunch of other women.

I'm not a Bevin fan (the ankle whining started it all--and for those who might ask if I know what it's like, yes I do--I've had brokens legs/arms during my younger athletic days) and think those two big tattoos on her back/shoulder look low-rent and tacky (although I know it turns on a lot of guys as well). But I do believe she loves him, just as I believe Tessa does, too. One of these girls will get her heart broken. I think he will select Tessa because she is more the image of the perfect, unsullied girlfriend/wife. A lot of guys will date the wild one but won't marry them. I don't think Dandy is any different.

Given how many seem to have been recruited, especially in recent seasons, I'm wondering how many actually do apply. I wonder if anybody's tried to figure this out?

Yes, but this isn't the army. Just because they're recruited, it doesn't mean they have to be on the show. For whatever reason, they choose to do it (those who apply and those who were recruited to be on the show--including Dandy).

I think if Bevin isn't chosen, she or Danielle may be offered the Bachelorette gig...

OMG, I would love to see Bevin as the next Bachelorette! With that in mind as a possibility, I won't be as bummed if Andy doesn't pick her in the end.

WHY would someone put themselves in a place where they are almost guaranteed get their heart broken if they are so adamant that they do not want to get it broken. (Tessa.) Seems naive and immature to me.

Choosing Bevin as Bachelorette would have too many bashers and would also have Andy seeming like a cad/fool for not choosing her. If Tess is not chosen, it wouldn't make any sense for her to be the Bachelorette as she questioned this form of meeting someone and is a little camera shy.

I think Danielle would be the choice because, except for the psychic stuff and the "shared loss" story line, she is not controversial and is thought to be lovely and classy by most.

Ouch ! So do we think Bevin is also naively and immaturely worrying that her heart might be broken and has just not been shown saying it that way ? Or is Bevin so cold that she doesn't care ? Or is she so arrogant that she figures she is the only one he can possibly choose ?
