| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 His comment still sounded so juvenile, IMO. Instead of.."I want to fall in love with you, too"..he could have said.."falling in love with you would be wonderful". This is a unique situation, you're right. In general though, it would signify that he isn't there, yet (in love), by saying he wants to fall in love.

For me, it's too much of a stretch that he's coaxing the statement out of her in order to let her know he's already picked someone else - I just can't buy that all that effort to get her to say it was the simplest way to drop a hint that she's not the one.

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 No, I dont take his comment as meaning that he hasn't fallen in love with any of them. He is telling Tessa this. In my opinion, the meaning behind.."I want to fall in love with you, too"..signifies that he hasn't. I realize he can't come out and tell her openly that he has fallen in love with her..but that word 'want' still tells me he hasn't.

I realize that for the show, he has to keep the required number each rose ceremony. That's not what I'm saying, what I am saying is that there doesn't seem to be much point, at this stage of the game, if he's in love with say, person Z, to get person X to commit and emotionally invest herself further.

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 I think he told Tessa this because either..1. it makes the show what it is. Fleiss has to create doubt as to who andy does love. or, 2. this is a clue to Tessa that he isn't in love with her. It just sounds to me like he has already fallen for one of the girls, but to tell Tessa he "wants" to fall in love with her does not sound like man who has already fallen for her. Just my opinion.

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 I think people are focusing too much on the word 'want' in the "I want to fall in love with you" statement from Andy. He's responding to/mirroring what Tessa said, in response to him asking "What do you want?" He asks what she wants, then she responds "I want to fall in love with you" and he says the same thing back to her. That's all. He started it! ![]() Do I think it means he loves her already? Not necessarily. |

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 For Andy, the family dates were terribly important. He has said over and over that family is so important and that he wanted to see the girls family environment and how they interact with their families. He is close with his family, admires his parents relationship, wants a family of his own soon. He loved Bevin's family. They made him feel welcome and he was very uninhibited with them. He and Bevin hiked, something both love. She was pretty tongue in cheek about bringing other boys there - of course she had And if was a good place to talk about her divorce - outdoors, alone (with constant cameras ) Contrasting this was Tesse date where the family and friends grilled him. We saw no warmth or welcome. Both come from divorced families, but Bevin's entire family was there (and obviously cordial) vs Tesse mother and stepfather (I think). We heard Bevin talk about her relation ship with her mother and saw her closeness with her father. We saw none of that on Tesse date. Instead her friend had center stage. Perhaps it means nothing. Perhaps it was just meant to cast doube on Tesse, but I don't think so. I think it was meant to showcase something very important to Andy that he found with Bevins family

Well, it's kind of an unusual and maybe strange-sounding statement, but I don't know about juvenile. He's only known her a little over three weeks at that point, and he's been dating 24 other women at the same time. Seems to me that he means -- As I get to know you, I realize tht you're the kind of person I want to fall in love with.... And to me, to say "I've fallen in love with you" when you've spent less than 24 hours total with the person (most likely) and have been dating 24 others would be *really* immature. In real life, you might fall in love that quickly, but that's because there aren't a ton of other dates and a ton of camera operators and directors involved every time you're with the person. But in this situation, I would call it immature to imagine that you *had* actually fallen in love with someone this quickly. By this point, he hasn't even spent ten minutes actually *alone* with one of these women. If you've never actually been alone in a room with someone, and you've only known them for three weeks total, you probably aren't in love. is my opinion. I doubt that he really feels "in love" for sure with any of them at this point, although I think he knows that at least Tessa and Bevin are both the kind of women he hopes to fall in love with down the line (not so sure about Danielle). He seems a little too sensible to me to think that he's actually completely fallen in love with any of them at this point. ... And that fact probably leaves you phrasing things strangely when the producers say -- Talk about *love,* Andy. | |

| Re: Bevin - Bachelor 10 I was thinking in the middle of the night about why I still think Andy chooses Bevin. One thought that popped into my mind was that Andy commented I believe in an interview something about the chosen one watching the shows and now seeing things she didn't know happened or were said before but she understands, etc. I am completely paraphrasing. But that just seems to point to Bevin again because it would make sense that she would see Andy telling Tessa he wanted to fall in love with her too and other comments about her, and wonder a bit. But I don't see how that would work visa versa. I can't think of any scene between Bevin and Andy in private that would surprise Tessa. Just my thoughts. |
