Bevin annoys me! She is already desperate, at only age 28? Imagine how traumatic her 30th birthday is going to be for her if she's not married by then!
She needs to stop talking about her age and start making her life worth living. And quit being so man-dependent.
Guess I must be crabby today.
Is she man-dependent, though? We don't really know her circumstances or why she applied for the show. What we do know is that her mother has stated in a news article that she thought Bevin would be perfect for the show and encouraged her to apply. Andy has stated that he wanted his name and background out early in the process so that those applying would know who they were vying for. Maybe it was this man and this time. Another one of the fate engines that are one of this show's themes.
With her background of early achievement, a young marriage and now work and further studies, she must feel older than 28. That age seems young to some of us (especially me) but maybe she feels it really is time for her to settle her life and, for her, that includes a family. I'm not faulting her for wanting marriage and children earlier than a lot of young women today.
Don't be crabby, fireflyer, it's just a show with a story to tell and the Fleiss machine has found two very interesting women to highlight. Unfortunately, one of them has to be yin to the other's yang.
Exactly, Arielflies. These two women (Tessa and Bevin) are as different as black and white. While Tessa seems sweet, she in my opinion, does not compliment Andy's personality that much from what Ive seen, so far..but maybe later, we will actually see the love story unfold, should she win. I see Bevin as a very passionate lady who is seeking love..and if she feels she found it in Andy, then I'm not going to put her down. May the best woman win..whoever stole his heart.
Nah...I think Bevin is really into Andy, and I tend to believe she's honest about that. Remember, she's older than most of the rest, too. I believe she's looking for a soulmate.
I have never had the feeling that Bevin was needy, whiny, etc. There have been girls in past Bachelors that were so possessive & stalker-like that Bevin is so far from that description.
The group date at the casino. It was Andy that asked Bevin for alone time; believe me if Nicole had given a half-perky answer, Andy would not have pulled her aside for one-on-one time. Andy truly cares about Bevin. It's the other's comments that are making Bevin look so bad.
Andy's a big boy..and if he didn't want to go on the kayak with Bevin he could have said no. The others are just mad that they didn't think of it.
While I think Bevin probably gets along when alone with the women, I think she also wants to win. Either her crying, whining, etc.. is an act to get attention and/or TV time, or she is insecure and/or immature - I wouldn't put a penny on insecure. She seems very outgoing - the kiss is just a kiss statement - always suggesting alone time with Andy, very forward with touching, kissing, coming onto him. A girl who marries so young has usually done so on impulse. I see a lot of that trait in her. Live for the moment kind of thing. I think Andy doesn't know what to do with her sometimes. He's polite, a gentleman and so I think he just caves into her lets be alone. It doesn't hurt ! His feeling is she's fun to be with, good to cozy up with but not someone you spend your life with. If he keeps her until final 2 its because he knows whom he's choosing, knows the others would be more hurt if carried forward and/or producers said keep her so we have nice girl vs annoying girl.
I posted this in another thread, but for some of us Bevin fans, I noticed something about Andy's body language during this weeks pre-rose cermony time.
Andy's time with Bevin..his body is turned to her and both his hands are clenched with hers. Totally in tune with each other.
However, with Andy and the other girls, he does the arm on shoulder and other arm either to himself or on their knees. It is more obligatory, nothing special.
I think the tattoos would be a bigger deal to Andy then the divorce. She was young, so I dont' see the big deal. I also have nothing at all against tattoos, but I can see Andy not "digging" them. But he likes her so far and he knows she has them so who knows?
