Who we are is not defined by what we own or how we earn our living. Who we are is evidenced in our quiet passions ... and the signature we trace on those we love.
I wonder if there is a different storyline here - and I realize I don't have much to support my theory - except gut. But it seemed that T and Sb were very natural and affectionate with each other - from the beginning. We have had T present himself as an honest, sincere and genuine person. Everything seemed fine betw T and SB at the end of their hometown - they were smiling at the rc - she didn't cry - she left him a very heartfelt, sincere video message before the rc - it strikes me as very strange that he let her go - unless there was a reason - her edit has gotten stronger and stronger - she is not so immature - her Mother was great - nothing was badly edited there - could it be that she was miserable - and prob bored - and prob unable to understand what was going thru T's mind when he was making these choices and getting rid of the girls that SB did have something in common with - so he lets her go to protect her - he can't tell her she is the winner - but he has to play this out and give everyone a very fair chance in all of this so no one will have their nose out of joint ! Each of the final 3 has had very poor edits compared to any winner that I can remember. SS might be the obvious best - but she was pretty catty, (accusing SB of trying to get the kiss from T after Susan's b'day party, calling someone a bitch, continually questionning M's motives - and her mother and aunt were very much the same way - nothing really of substance just being inquisitive about what SS had done with T - whether he ahd kissed her yet - typical girl chatty stuff.) And do we ever hear SS say why she is in love with T - or why she even likes him - he is "just right for her , that's all." So I am still thinking that there is something else going on - and as far as Chris' comment that they didn't need to go to Paris - that could mean that SB and T were so happy tog that they could have been anywhere - neither really cared that much for the great places around them... I am prob way off here - just mentionning a different thought process !
Moana was shown questioning the other women just as much as Sarah S questioned her - both women did it directly and not behind anyone's backs and amazingly it all stopped after the yacht date. Sarah's question about the kiss I thought was a valid one since there seemed to be a competition going between Sarah B and Susan to get the first kiss. I didn't see it as catty. She wasn't the one who jumped up to check it out though - that was Shiloh and someone else. Sarah's statement that included the word "b*tch" has been so blown out of proportion it's beyond ridiculous at this point. We have *no* idea what the context of it was, we don't know why she was saying it or who she honestly was talking about. Look at how they've edited this season with clips from obviously different situations to say something that they want to have fit into a situation.
Now SS on tha yacht said more than enough & not to Moana but she questioned & was going to get in tears because she was frustrated about the time being spent with Moana..
The only one that has been given the cleanest edit is Moana & she has the personal issues but other than that (IT's A BIGGEY IN ITSELF) Moana is the cleanest as far as the girls go. Did we not just herre SS wanting her kisses. Was it not SS sitting with Susan that started the inquistion abot SB & kisses & what I consider left Susan to run with it. SS put that in the heads & then backed off.
I don't care who wins at all any more here, but I still have my opinions.LOL
I still think SS is way too chatty but she come from a female dominated home. That is not a bad thing but that is what it is.
Intheblind - I think there was more there between SB & Moana. The big thing that stood out for me was when SB wouldn't even get close to Moana when SB was saying goodbye. I'm not disputing anything, but I haven't noticed that with any of the other girls.
In the defense for Sarah....she always makes eye contact with all and gives each one a smile.
One piece of editing not evident until the screencap analysis is the Travis' PI prior to F3 RC when he talked about inevitably breaking her heart. The PI was shot at the time of the FRC as Travis has on the FR suit and crooked tie. It also shows him with the "damp", flattened hair. Wonder if they will show the PI during the final show in "real" time, or wanted to insert it someplace and before the F3 RC seemed as good a place as any.
Moana wasn't given any cleaner of an edit than Sarah S was, though she didn't get the "narrative" time that Sarah did. Moana was the one in the first few episodes questioning the other women who put themselves in that situation, she was the one wondering how Travis could like all the others and Kristen at the same time. That's before her emotions ever came into play.
Sarah's comments in "confessional" I don't count as time on the yacht date - because that was after the date was over. The stuff that everyone keeps talking about and having problems with were what she was saying to Moana in the casino. We have to remember we don't know the context of any of the confessional stuff, or what led up to it. It could've been something entirely different than the jet ski or the coffee that was causing Sarah to be upset at that point. We don't know how any of that time on the date truly played out.
I understand where she was coming from when she talked about wanting to be kissed - she's not forward so she's not going to make the move to step things up, but that doesn't change her desire.
