Hawaii! Or some other tropical locale. I've had enough of "city dates". Let's get some scenery, since we're not getting romance.

It seems as if no one is enjoying this show anymore. Here is my advice....make it two hours long so that the viewers have more time to consume alcohol along with the contestants...we can make up drinking games and have even longer viewing parties!!!!

I wish they would locate a show in the Bachelor/ette's hometown. That was one of the comments my husband made when he passed by the TV and saw that this season was set in New York--he said, "I thought that chick was from Chicago, why didn't they have the show there?" I thought that was an excellent point. One of the reasons (supposedly) why Jen and Andrew Firestone broke up was because she had "given too much" to the relationship by leaving her job and hometown to relocate and then travel with him. If her intention in doing this season is really to find a potential husband, wouldn't she want to see how that guy fit into her life, more than you could find out on the so-called "hometown dates"?

That's a really interesting idea! Then the bachelor/ette could just throw the rejected ones overboard. I like it!

Oh geez, Now I have in my head that crazy show Love Boat and it's vexatious theme song!!! I guess I'm dating myself but I can just imagine Chris Harrison would be the "Captain" and maybe Trista could come back and be the Activity Director!! They could get Mike and his spooning dog to be the comedy entertainment and let's see they could hire Jerry to be one of those escort dancers for the single "other" ladies.. and Fabby could be the escort for all 'alternate' lifestyle dance partners!! ... John Paul could give country western dance lessons with a free pair of boots!! We could always bring back Charlie to do the play by play as the slick talking MC of entertainment. Stu could be in charge of security!!! For those staying up so late and full of drinks that their hearing's impaired... they could listen to the crooning of Bob the Blob... Of course we'd have our favorite bartender Ben,mixing "Aspen Sugar Daddy" drinks, giving sweet smiles and sage advice!!
I guess all fishing excursions could be led by our favorite bass-fishing duo,Byron and Mary and For all those fainting and sea sick individuals we could have David come back and give tips on how to swoon properly!! Tag team comedy duo of the French man and the babushka woman could be none other than Wendell and Ryan!! I guess that's all the entertainment I can think of for one night!!
Oh good times... Let's all sing... "Love boat. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Love boat.hmmmmmmmLove boat!! Did you get the idea I can't remember the words... but OHHHHH that tune.... it's in my head and won't go away!!! :nono

Even if they promise interesting changes for next time, I probably won't watch. This season seared a negative attitude into me about the producers in general. I really see them as these sleazy, say-what-people-want-to-hear-and-then-stab-them-in-the-back kind of people. JMO!
javajane, who did you see the fameho-ness in Byron's season? Byron's was my favorite season. I thought Byron was the most sincere of all the bachelors. Now Jesse's I totally agree with you. His was the worst yet! :phhht What I really don't like about Jen's episode is that she had no choice in who went on the one-on-one dates. Kind of defeats the purpose of finding and dating the men of your choice.
Anywhere you go, let me go too. Gerard, that's all I ask of you.

    Brad Pitt as the Bachelor

Fox News had a segment on yesterday about Brad Pitt being the next Bachelor . They thought it would be a great show. ABC would bring in over the top ratings, the (marriage/baby/non star wanting) women would not know until they got there that it was Brad. He would alas, find an ordinary woman, that wanted babies and everyone (fans, franchise and Brad) would live happily ever after. I thought it was a great idea. Fox News.
When you put your whole body into the dance, your spirit will follow.
