There are certain angles that JP looks handsome. But I agree once he opens his mouth he loses me. And the way he holds his head to the side all of the time. What's up with that?

Okay, I finally watched the show and tried to see some connection between Jenn and John Paul. Everything seemed so forced. She was more relaxed with Ryan before she dumped him. It appears, though, that the editing is trying to make us believe she chooses John Paul. If she does pick him, it is certainly not because he turns her on. It will be because she thinks Jerry will end up hurting her and she is in more control with JP. If she picks this guy, I'll be shocked. But then, I keep remembering Outback Jack picking Natalie. This would be the same scenario.

Sassy ... if you go back and look at the hometown dates. Jen and JP are sitting outdoors by the fireplace and things are quite cozy between them. She asks him if he can see her as part of his life and he replies that yes he can, it's almost scary how easy it is to imagine her there! Jen also says that she could see herself there too.

I just think that so much of the real conversations between Jen and all of the guys is so edited that we really have no way of knowing what's really going on, except our "gut" feelings and our take on the body language we see.

(...sometimes we only see and hear the "good" stuff from our favorite b/c that's who we're really paying close attention to.

I have never been as shocked (& upset) with the outcome of one of these shows as I was with that one!!
I certainly hope that the outcome of this show won't make me that upset!

Just in case you wanted to know (and probably don't)

but I'm going to tell you anyway, my take on JP... I've said it plenty of times, but to repeat, I LIKE Jp... no problems with the lip thing!!

BUT what I'm basing my opinion on is how JP and Jen's "connections" have been shown. I'm going to have to say, I don't even think the producers are even trying to present a good case for JP being Jen's final choice. I see an attraction toward him on her part, but not a lot of physical chemistry between either of them. Their kisses at this point you would think would be a little more intimate if she's even half way considering him as her husband. (BUT as an aside, have you noticed that in these last two shows, Jen has not shared any "passionate" or even lukewarm warm kisses with ANY of the guys and I'm even talking about Jerry!! I read a review by I think reality steve about how closed mouthed Jen is kissing the guys and she's supposedly in love with one of them. Now, I'm sure all Wheelers will come up with some excuse to justify Jen's kisses with Jerry being more passionate and we're just not seeing them, but come on.. this is a TV show and I'm sure the producers are encouraging her to show a little more "hot" stuff for better ratings, at least!!

AND please all those who want to argue with me about this (KIDDING :ROFL) you've got to admit that even Jerry and Jen's kisses this past week were very passionLESS!!!

Anyway, back to JP.... I think we're being given a lot of clues in the previews by the editors to show us JP isn't the one. Just look at the FRC... through out this season before commercial breaks, Chris H's VO before rose ceremonies usually flash to the face of the one being sent home before the others when he asks "Who will go home? Who will stay? (It happened with Wendell and Ryan) and now in this preview for the FRC they flash JP's pic when it says who will she reject.. and goes to Jerry's pic. Also, the pics of JP in the previews do not really show any intimate looks by Jen to JP but the pick of Jen and Jerry with their heads together has a lot of chemistry. Even the VO don't really build one up to believe JP is Jen's choice.
So what I'm saying is JP isn't even a convincing choice unlike Tara and Matt and Kelly Jo and Kristen and Charlie..... He reminds me of Tanya's build up... did anyone even think she had a chance? I doubt many!!
If Jen picks JP... I will be dropping my jaw and shouting at the TV.. "NO way!!" (On a side note, I wouldn't be upset if she picked Jp because I really don't care for either guy personally.. they're both OK... just not "rocking my boat"
