I am rooting for JP as well but it seems like its going be Jerry. I think that ABC had something to do with her getting rid of Ryan before JP. I think ABC is hyping it up to be a for Love for Money ending. Will she choose love, or will she choose money. I think JP is the one for her if she is indeed looking for marriage.

I'm glad to see some others have joined me in liking John Paul! He's been my favorite since the first night - he has manners, isn't a camera hog and seems very mature for his age. He was one of the few guys who would stand up when Jen came into the group - I believe him when he says he knows how to treat a woman! And as someone else has already noticed - he really knows how to wear those jeans! So far, my favorite has been him in a suit with his shirt unbuttoned just enough for Jen to see his chest when she pinned the rose on (unlike Keith who seemed to have his shirts buttoned up to there!) Oh, BTW, I'm old enought to be JP's mom and hope my sons turn out as well!

Well, Jerry was doing the same thing when he said he had screwed up the RC 1-1 time with his answer about taking Jen home to meet his family. And I keep hearing him say, "what's his name?" about Andrew Firestone. Yeah, right, like he hadn't heard that name 4,000 times in the first 2 days in LA.

But anyway, on another note...
I'm on record already, but I want to put my name in as a fan of JP. I don't know why I started liking him. - There must have been a clip of him speaking in previews or something and his speech bothered me so I didn't think I'd like him. Once he had the casino date I really loved him & thought he'd be the winner. Now I am going along with Jerry winning, but I'm still not real warm to him. I'm going to check out JP in jeans right now- I hadn't noticed!

After last night's episode, I am so rooting for JP. Did we see Jen leave his house or did it just end with them sitting by the fire. I could not remember.

Actually, I like all three guys, but I still think JP is too young right now. It put me off that he was trying to impress her with his monetary worth, but I understand his motivation. He knows he has to make up ground with her because she has had more time with the other guys and that his age is a factor.

His looks are growing on me and he definitely had the best family to match Jenn's comfort zone. But, I just don't see any chemistry. It seems forced on her side. However, I do think he will be in the final two. He seems to be gaining ground on Ryan and the differences in their family units may have been the deciding factor.

Also, when he thinks about Jen's ex being heir to the
(tire)throne, he probably thinks the material things are more important to Jen, even tho she's said it's not important. And, honestly, I don't think Jen would be as happy with someone living paycheck-to-paycheck.

I don't think that's what the motivation was... I just think he was trying to show her that he's stable at such a young age and at a point in his life where he can provide for a family.

And the simple fact that she broke it off with the heir to a multimillion dollar family fortune shows that money isn't everything to Jen. If these guys think she's just materialistic, they've got blinders on.

I started this season not liking JP at all ... I even said, how am I going to watch this guy all season.

Well, I take back those words. JP has turned out to be a class act and a gentleman.

Now the only one I don't like this season is Jen.

ITA with this. And he also showed that he doesn't think like a "kid." Even though I privately refer to JP as "The Kid," I really use it as a term of ironic endearment b/c Jen is so on about the fact that he's 25 in every freakin' episode. This dude thinks like an adult. He spent PART of his time with Jen in OKC with his family, but he also really behaved like a grown-up (which I think he is) by taking Jen to his own home and planning something for the occasion. I reserved judgment on JP early on b/c I thought he seemed like he could possibly be too serious. Now I think, no. He's just serious about things that ARE serious --- a very good quality. He's thoughtful --- gave Jen a quirky little gift and planned a special evening for them. But he's also thoughtful --- seems to think about more than just the moment directly in front of him. That's a man. I respect him and I don't hold his financial capabilities against him.....if one can, one should. He did.

His parents must be very proud. HE should be very proud of himself. If Jen isn't feelin' it for him, that's OK. To each her own. But lucky for some other young lady out there that she might become the love of his life. He's a good "kid."

Really, the only problem I personally have with JP is that I heard he went to OU. And seeing as how some OU players seemed to think MY alma mater's QB is only half a football player, I hold that against JP. Just kiddin'....I went to the Orange Bowl this year and found the Boomin' Sooners to be a great crowd!
