John Paul Merritt will be presenting flowers (presumably roses)
BWAH! Look, they're making a joke!

*ahem* Anyway, I think it's best that I keep my opinion of JP and his attempt at sultry looks (that just make him look sleepy) and pouty lips at the most recent rose ceremony to myself - mostly. :rolleyes

As much as I've commented negatively on him, I pride myself on keeping an open mind. I might not be adverse to showing him my cards if he shows me his.

He had group dates with 1-on-1 time too. So there were 3 dates he could've been referring to.

He doesn't need a few more years. I'll beat down his door now.

John Paul is a really classy and together guy. OK, so he didn't wear socks. Some sweet girl can come along and bat her eyes at him and say "JP, sweethart, would you mind terribly putting on some socks with that outfit?".
Done, crisis averted.

That was a great post about JP and his roots. It is really nice that families still have morals and values. Where I live you don't see too much of that.

gee, Victoria, here I am saying "ditto" again!! (did you read my mind??).. :rolleyes
I've thought about our boy, John Paul and the more I have seen him, the more I like him. I grew up with two sports-competitive older brothers, so I can fully understand his references to competition and the "cheating" thing with siblings... (aww.. good memories!! ) But as far as him translating those ethics to his personal life. I just don't see it!!... He's been nothing but respectful and caring for Jen and fun with the guys without being over dramatic or needing to be the center of attention... Simply put, he's one of the most mature guys there, from what we've seen and as far as his competitiveness on the show, it's mainly been a one purpose objective and that's to win Jen's heart... To me, there's nothing wrong with competition in that context because after all that's what this show is.. a competitive dating /reality show!! Right???
The biggest shock, in Fleiss history to me, would be if we all had the wool pulled over our eyes and all the speculations were wrong and John Paul was Jen's final man!!! Not gonna happen you say??? .... Crazier things have happened, so who knows... but you gotta admit.. it would make for some great water fountain gossip!!!
And Broadway.... and Minney and Beagle and all the others who have been fans of JP... you go, girls!!!.. He's always been handsome in my book, as well!
