Actually, I was not a fan of his before last night. I thought he was too young and his looks were just so-so. Not being a fashionista myself (my husband wants to report me to the fashion police due to the strange outfits I wear at home), I really didn't notice how he was dressed. However, I thought he behaved himself as a perfect gentleman on the date and he seems to be intelligent, sensitive to Jenn's feelings, and more mature than his age would indicate. His success at 25 is commendable and I think Jenn was right to be impressed (I don't think it was because she liked him because he had money).

All that being said, I still think he may be a little too young for her right now, and his looks are not appealing to me and I don't think Jenn is that attracted either. I do think he will be in the Final Four or may even make it to the Final Two, but very much doubt he'll win the girl.

OH NO!!!!! Elvis is my hunka hunka. Please don't compare those fish lips to the King's lovely upturned upper lip!

ETA: Well, Elvis always said that you could tell a lot about a man by the way he treats his momma. We'll see.

Absolutely. He just does nothing for me. The lips, the look, the whole thing. I hate to be "lookist" but I'm going on gut instinct (fish lip reference!) here and gut's saying N-O.

His lips aren't the issue with me - it's his chin/jaw/neck. But you have to admit, that man has gorgeous eyes!! I like him.

JP is adorable to me and I LIKE his lips. How is a 3 year age difference that big of a deal when your an adult? 25 is NOT too young to settle down.

[I still like him for Jen though *she says sheepishly* I like that he wasn't putting the "moves" on her too quickly. I think that showed maturity and respect. I think she digs him, and he surprises her.]

Who cares about the socks, that's an easy problem to fix if Jen doesn't like it. ADK I'm with you on the "moves" thing. In the words of JP "I was very impressed."

Bachfan4; Bamabrain... The 'Elvis' connection for me was that he [JP] was too pretty. The only pretty man I ever liked/loved was Elvis. JP just doesn't do it for me. Hmmm....wonder if he sings. LOL

Hi everybody.

I'm really liking JP. Not only is he all the things aname said, but there is something very capable about him. A guy who can do stuff is a total attraction for me. I'm not sure he's a great match for Jen, but I think he'll be a great husband and dad someday. Actually on paper he's perfect for Jen. Didn't he say something the first night about how he wanted to be successful early so he could start a family young and they could do fun things together? Hello. That's pretty much what Jen wants. And very sweet, by the way. But somehow I just don't see them together. He should probably go with a hometown gal.

The only thing that gives me pause about him is his fashion sense. Not so much for aesthetic reasons, but what it says about his psyche. What goes on in someone's mind that they make the oddball fashion choices he's made? Does he have some insecurity that he masks with "suave" clothing? An off-kilter social barometer? It's totally shallow but it's one of those things that raises a red flag for me.

To me, he seems like the type of guy who is always the boss, and likes to always be the boss; I don't see Jen with that type. She needs an equal partner. I can't see it with JP.
