    "Hey look at me"

I was nauseated by Jesse's blasť sports guy yeah I'm sick of a different ho in my bed all the time confession as well. If any of the bachelors had come on air and said yup I've nailed 35 so far, and my perfect wife is rich, gorgeous, implanted, trained like a porn star ,ditzy and I'm not settling for any less, I'd be just as disgusted.

Good for Trish if she knows what she wants. But I wouldn't share my past with a bunch of strangers, especially with a camera stuck in my face. I can't think of any instance where it would work it's way into a conversation. If I were asked , I'd simply say it's none of your *&^ business. Out of 125 Bachelorettes , she's the only one who has crowed her conquests (although the virgin rate in that group was probably pretty low.) If that doesn't indicate a bit of attention seeking , I really don't know what does.

Precisely. And for all those who continue to commend her for being "confident" and honest, I'll just say I would truly LOVE to see Jesse take Trish home to meet his parents. But only if she'll continue being just as confident and candid as she is when the other women and the national audience are watching. Seriously, a woman cannot think that she can spout these sordid theatrics on tv and have any chance of getting picked in the end, where the bachelor knows that mommy is going to be watching after the choice is already made. (Speaking of which, wonder what mommy had to say about the "waking up to a strange face" idiot comment last week. Wonder what the "winner"'s folks had to say about that as well.)

I agree with all of the above, with some caveats. I think that facts can be presented (e.g. number of partners) in a way that is simply honest and forthright, which I think these shows need much more of, or in a way that is attention-seeking, and I do think Trish is an attention-seeker. I also think that, though the "other woman" (or man) is also accountable if they knowingly sleep with someone whose spouse is not okay with it, I do agree that the greater onus rests on the cheating spouse. People are not "seduced" unless they are looking to be. AS for the age and number of partners thing, I am in my 30's, and I would reaaly wonder what was wrong with a guy who'd only been with, say, under five women (and that number only if he's been in a looong-term relationship.)

But, Lotuslander, promiscuity /can/ be a sign of emotional problems, too. I think that we cannot make generalizations on these things - it must always be considered case by case, within the context of an individual person's life.

    I see your point but...

Jesse is saying he's "sick of that" while Trish is bragging about her one night stands. Also he's not as open (or to the extent) as Trish is. (Of course not, he's trying to get these girls to like him :p) but my point is, Trish just brought it a few notches higher.

I kind of like Trish. She seems like the only one who could put baby Jesse in his place. I also think all her bragging is just sort of for shock value. I mean when the sleeping with women thing came up, I was just waiting for the farm animal stories. The other girls are kind of innocent and Trish likes being the been-around-the-block girl. :-)

What you say tends to agree with a point made by those who generally support Trish. She is clearly not "spouting sordid theatrics" in order to get picked. She is simply representing herself as she is, warts (to some) and all (which is more than I can say for Jessica B: "No, we didn't kiss on our date"). Trish made this clear during the "I never" game: "I already know you won't like me, but this is who I am, and I have no regrets."
