I think the fact that there are so many behind the scenes pictures floating around is odd in itself. Makes me wonder if the old Fleiss-master is working overtime or the PR Staff for the Bachelor

No I don't think Andy chose Tessa because she is type, I truly think he fell in love with her.....But we are all creatures of habit to some extent and for me if you put dark hair men in a room along with lighter hair men my eyes would try to find and look at the darker hair guys because that is what I am drawn to nothing wrong with that it's just the individual likes......

This is a really interesting theory. I remember years ago reading something about it, and through the years I've looked at our friends. Most - but not all - are married to spouses with opposite hair coloring. I'm blonde, my husband's brunette. Look at couples around you and see - it's a lot of fun!

Thank you Momlady for the welcome, too! I love this topic! So many great opinions. I liked Bevin so much and the crying episodes didn't bother me, as I thought she had pretty good reasons to cry and I am sure that others had their moments too. If they showed a few minutes out of a week of my life, well, it could be very embarrassing! Momlady, I view the bachelor as a game or reality show like survivor. Competition, elimination, editing. The difference is that in the end, the "prize" is not a million dollars, it is the possibility of love!

About the hair color and type. Tessa and Bevin are so very different and yet, Andy seemed attracted to both. I think he chose Tessa for a number of reasons and that is o.k. What I think is not o.k. is the too many intimate moments and words that should never have been said. Bevin to me is beautiful, and unlike the usual starlet type. I am not a fan of Tessa's look, but I can definitely see that Andy thought she was beautiful. I have viewed Bevin's my space and I prefer her with the sun-kissed look!

I didn't see a deep connection with Andy and Tessa. I saw Andy chasing after the unsure/hesitant woman. The thrill of the chase, if you will. So yes, we all have differing opinions on what we saw.

I so agree with you. Fleiss edited Tessa in such a way that in my opinion she was being too "coy" and I just couldn't get pass that persona. Of course, my problem is the manner in which Andy crossed the fine line on the show

I would like to weigh in on a couple of things.

First of all - has anyone NEVER said anything they wish they could take back? Something that came out of your mouth before you thought it through? I think Andy messed up by telling both girls he loved them before he let one go. I think he really did have a degree of love for both, but his love was much stronger for Tessa. When Bevin told Andy she loved him, he may have felt uncomfortable not reciprocating. Yes, he should have just dealt with that discomfort rather than give her false hopes. But he didn't. He messed up. He's human. OMG!

Regardless of whether or not any of us sees the connection more between Andy & Tessa or Andy & Bevin, Andy obviously felt that the connection was deeper with Tessa. Like his mother took time to warm up to his father, Tessa took a bit of time to warm up to Andy. The Baldwin boys seem to like it that way.

Well, Bevin answered a couple of questions on her yahoo fangroup page... One of them was if she would take Andy back if he realized that he made a mistake. She said no, because he hurt her too much. She says that he told her that he loved her since long before it was shown and that he told her to trust her, which she did. If that's true, which I absolutely believe, then it is definitely not something Andy said once because he wasn't thinking...

If that's the case, that's not good. He really messed up. But I have to ask something. And I don't mean this judgementally, but if she's so hurt by him, then why does she keep up the photos of her with him? If I was so hurt by somebody that I'd never take him back, at the very least I'd put all the photos in a box and put it away somewhere. Then I'd play my favorite pick-me-up-after-a-breakup songs, such as "I'll Fall in Love Again" by Sammy Hagar. After time passed and I felt I could look at the photos again without feeling the hurt, then I might bring them out. But not display them. Again, I'm not judging her - I just don't understand.

Well, I think the photos are up because it'sa part of her life (that show) that she isn't sorry for. It does not mean she has a fixation about Andy..because she doesn't. She's not sorry she did the show, and maybe this is her way of moving on. We all handle our pasts in different ways. Yes, Andy messed up...BIG TIME. We all do, at some point or another, but we do not/should not tell people we love them, and not mean it, or act on it. It should not be taken lightly. Love is a fragile thing.
