The next bachelorette is supposed to air sometime at the beginning of the summer and The Bachelor Pad is towards the end of the summer, after the bachelorette is over.)Quote:
Agreed, I'm thinking it'll be like that MTV show where they culled people from Real World and Road Rules into competition. I'm not sure I can even watch it.
Are we certain that this show is not airing in the Bach'ette's stead? They're both slated for summer, no?
I agree that this new show will be a bit sleazier than the bachelor/ette, but hopefully it will still be fun to watch. It'll be great to see past contestants again.
I heard that to be the timing also and then wondered how it was to play in vs the timing of BB. Different networks, of course, but much of a similar audience. Could be a nice summer. :nodQuote:

I hope that Graham, Jeremy, Trista & Ryan, Charlie & Sarah, Reid, Kiptyn, Ed & Jillian, etc. have moved on beyond Reality TV to be satisfied with their real lives. I think we like these people because they seem to be real, nice, responsible, "normal" people. For them to keep jumping in front of the camera, I find rather sad and rather disappointing.
I don't think it is hard to get a list of characters who would want to do The Bachelor Pad. It will be interesting to see though who ABC picks of those begging for spots.
The premise of the show is there will be 20 contestants, and one will be evicted each week. That would mean 20 weeks of shows but not 20 weeks (approximately 5 months) of filming, right?Quote:

I really have no idea about all of that. All I know is that the article says that there will be 7 episodes and 20 contestants. :shrugQuote:
