Ali just slipped up. She said (paraphrasing) "she had to make a decision & she wasn't ready but she thought........

She thought what?? That she would be ready when she got to the F4 position? Sounds like she was set up to go to F4 then she could decide to leave to go back to work, or stay with Jake if she fell for him.

Wow, he really surprised me with how cold he was with her. I thought he would at least try a little bit. He didn't even comfort her. Lame Jake. Lame.

He is probably just really angry. Maybe Ali wanted to see what his reaction was and she wasn't impressed since he didn't take it too hard so that helped her make her decision to leave. It's probably for the best. Now i would love for her to be the next bachelorette.
