    Irony in the Bachelor ***SPOILERS***

It is very ironic that Jake pulled out all the stops to ensure that Jillian knew the truth about Wes on the Bachelorette. He even came back after he had been let go because he felt it was so important that Jillian knew she was being duped.

So for Jake now to just disregard what every single girl in the house is telling him about Vienna - it is just so ironic.

You would think that he - of all people - would realize they are on to something.

It is so ironic - in fact - I almost wonder if it is staged.

Jake didn't say anything to Jillian about Wes UNTIL AFTER he left. I would say that whole scene was producer driven and Jake played along. He probably felt if he cooperated it would prove to them that he was a suitable candidate for the lead in his own show.

I know he didn't, but it bothered all of the guys and they talked about it and they couldn't understand why Jill continued to keep him around.....now he is on the other end of it as the bachelor. It is too much.

I find Jake looks uncomfortable around Vienna. He certainly didn't look like was thinking of Vienna when he was all over Gia last night.

Then when he brought Vienna up to Ali - and she wouldn't bite - after all her complaining....

Staged--YES most definatly! That or either Jake is caught up in the dramatic, craziness of this show and isnt thinking clearly. I guess its easy to be swept away with all these pretty women wanting your attention and all the wild dates and cameras around, enuff to make anyone's head spin. Meh either way he's kinda coming across as stupid.:nono

Let's not forget part of that whole clip of Wes and Jill in Austin (or Dallas where ever it was) we heard Wes say "he came here to be The Bachelor, and I'm as serious as a heart attack" how's that for irony. This whole thing has come full circle and for some reason his edit from last season to this season has done a 180.

I thought that Jill was waiting in the hotel room for Wes to pick her upt to go and meet his family, and then before Wes got there, Jake showed up and told her about the g'friend. After Jake left, Wes came and she confronted him, but they decided to go on and meet his family anyway. Am I remembering it incorrectly???

    I can't remember yesterday...

No seriously, I can't remember what was suppose to be going down when Jakey Poo showed up. It just looked so staged.. I like Wes, but he was only there for publicity for his band and I didn't think he was a good fit for Jill... I loved his drunken exit limo ride tho...hysterical.

I don't remember this scene. Was the he Wes talking about Jake? Did Jake really say that on camera at any point?

I hope that at the After the Final Rose show someone will ask Jake why didn't he listen to girls when it became obvious no one liked Viena, and if he feels different after watching the show

He said in a PI last night... 'I like Vienna' so evidently it doesn't matter to him what everyone is saying about her.
