Bachelor 14 Jake Pavelka **ScreenCaps and Discussion** Spoilers

The only problem with this scenario is Jake has maintained on more than one occasion, and one of them within the past week, to the Associated Press 2/15/10 that "he has not been in contact-no phone calls, no e-mails, not even text messages-with any women from the show" per an agreement with the network and producers. "He also said he understands Jason Mesnick, last season's bachelor who infamously dumped the woman he proposed to on the finale for the one that he earlier ditched."

"I know not everybody agreed with what Jason did, but he followed his heart," Pavelka said. "He did what was right for him, and he made decisions that he could live with for the next 60 years of his life, and that's what I did-not necessarily what everybody expects you to do but decisions that you can definitely live with."

According to this, if he chose Vienna, he has had no contact with her since the FRC. If he chose her, he changes his mind before they even leave St Lucia. I just don't think he chose anybody.

Granted I'm a little behind here but he did choose someone and I believe that it is Vienna. I have inside information that she has traveled to LA for weekends during the show's airing. My assumption is that she and Jake are sharing time at the safe house. Has there been any other sightings of Vienna in LA since the show started or would TPTB be considering her as the next Bette? How else would you explain this travel?

I wonder if Vienna will watch the show and see things in her personality that she should work on? I have a feeling that daddy has given her a skewed view of life so am doubtful anything will change.

If the SC's from the ATFR are any indication, it's turning out as predicted because Vienna is right beside Jake and Tenley isn't. There have been a lot of disappointing outcomes over the years but this will be right up there with the worst for me. I think having the whole season spoiled up front made it bad from the start and only a tiny bit of hope it was wrong kept people watching. I must say that even though early on I liked Jake more than I expected that changed as he kept Vienna around. I think they're smart to immediately go to Jason & Molly's wedding and the announcement of the Bachelorette because this isn't going to be a popular ending.

It is not going to be a very popular ending but it will be understood by the general audience. And yes Jason and Molly is a bright spot for TPTB and they need to promote it as the Bachelor audience will love seeing their wedding.

Probably not, I bet she just blames all the other girls and say they were just jealous... you know like all the other girls that didn't like her in the past but hey, when you're a princess, people around you just want your life and get pretty mean when they can't be just like you

I usually agree with you, Eowenc, but not this time. All of my unspoiled friends can't stand Vienna and even the spoiled ones. Everyone without exception says they think Jake's a fool if he picks Vienna so I don't think it will be understood no matter what spin they put on it in the finale and ATFR.

Actually i think we still agree. I also have many unspoiled friends who don't like Vienna but they will understand. And I believe that is what I said. Although I said they would understand I should have implied they wouldn't approve. But some do approve. Even in the non-spoiler thread here there are those that have liked and defended Vienna from the begining. Personally when Ali did not turn out to be what I had hoped I lost interest in everyone. This was a great looking bunch of women but Jake had the best ones IMHO leaving very early.

Vienna is very close friends with Miss Florida who gave an interview on radaronline. Miss Florida made the remark that Vienna told her upon finishing the show that she was happy, and that she had grown a lot from doing the show.

It is unfortunate, but honestly, I get the general feeling from reading post after post on several sites that people don't want to think that Vienna is going to change or grow or get any better in any way. I find that so very sad. It is as if Vienna is just the one that everyone loves to hate, and people don't want anything to change that. If she weren't a real person, that would be ok, but she is.

Me too.I really am not looking forward to watching Tenley get hurt on Monday,but I do think she isn't right for him so she did dodge a bullet.
