Bachelor 14 Jake Pavelka **Filming Schedule** SPOILERS**NO DISCUSSION

According to one of "our" PAs there is an 8 am call time this morning. Filming starting early today....I wonder if today is the day they're moving out & going somewhere. Anyone in Dallas?

4 of 6 lanes are closed on the 101. I'm on my way 45 min east to pick up my car then drive it 45 min south. This is a serious FML.

I see this season schedule as tight and not a great deal of room for changes given Thanksgiving looming.

Assuming recent past format and scheduling in play (other than Jillian's that started with 30 men and included two additional segments - the train ride and Spain), it is somewhat simple to calculate a calendar to proceed for this season.

Moving backwards, we know the FRC had to be no later than Tuesday, November 24 for cast and crew to be home on Thanksgiving eve.

Assuming Tuesday, November 24 is the FRC:

Last Chance Date and Final Rose Ceremony: 4 days total. The two LCDs are held the two days preceding the FRC and no days between. Thus, three days plus one travel day to fly to the LCDs/FRC location.

Meet Jake's Family: 3 days total. Two days will be needed to film the two finalist dates and on day to fly to Texas.

Fantasy Dates and the 3/2 Rose Ceremony: 7 days total. Three dates, each held on separate days and one day in between. Thus, we need to devote five days to the FDs, one day to fly in, and another day for the 3/2 RC.

Hometown Dates and the 4/3 Rose Ceremony: 9 days total. Four travel days and four HTDs plus one Rose Ceremony day. It is possible to shave travel days IF two or more of Jake's F4 live in the same town.

Travel Dates and the 6/4 Rose Ceremony: 4 days total. Traditionally, this segment is like a long weekend date with two 1:1 dates and one group date, where the cast and crew flies in and the first 1:1 date that evening. Two more dates, one day each --- a group date and a 1:1 date --- and, on the following day, the RC. The only deviation to this schedule that I am aware occurred during DeAnna's season where her second 1:1 date held the evening of the group date (and 3 days total).

The only way for there be movement in the schedule would be:

(1) having Jake's family fly into the LCD location as Jillian's family did (shaves off one travel day)
(2) two or more girls from the same hometown (shaves off one or more travel days)
(3) filming two dates on day during the travel date segment as happened during DeAnna's season (shaves off one "date" day).
