Bachelor 14 Jake Pavelka **Sleuthing** SPOILERS**

Speaking of his church, I have to wonder what their thoughts are on this: and his family's too. Just from an edit stand-point and not knowing any spoiler detail, I wonder what they think of any of these girls.

Unfortunately, these are the cards Jake has been dealt. I'm sorry he let a couple of the more "wholesome" girls go early, but I think he is making the best of a bad situation. With the "creative" input of TPTB and no Fort input to rely on, he only gets to see what the girls want to show him. They are mostly putting their best foot forward around Jake.

As far as family and church, Jake has handled himself well. All the drama and questionable scenes have come from the girls. If he is true to himself as he says, then his is letting go those that he can no longer see himself with in the future. If Vienna or whoever and her past is who he chooses, the excess baggage may get to him. Everybody has baggage; it just depends how much and what kind you are willing to take on.

I did notice something while rewatching that last episode. When Jake and Vienna (sausage, sorry that's all I think of when I hear her name) are talking during her one on one time before the ceremony, She says, "Alright, no more talking about them, just me and you, I'm like here until the end, Okay? That Good?". Watch his eyes even though it's from the side, his eyebrows raise and he grins really big. I think he planned on taking her to the end and she knew it somehow. Like that was some kind of sign. I don't know really how to explain it.

I stilll can't wrap my head around why he picks her as the F1. I'm trying, but I can't. She turned me off the first night. But it is his choice whether I, or anyone else likes it or not. But seriously?? ARGH!!!!

Just thought I would share my observation! I'm going to crawl back under my Fleiss covered rock!

My guess is Jake picks Vienna because he doesn't like to be swayed by anyone else's opinion, even if it's the majority - in fact he resents being told what he should do. I see how Vienna makes him feel good about himself and is able to forget the drama going on around her and concentrate on him. He feels drawn to her because she gives him her full attention and the look and touch she gives him says all that matters is him. The others are too occupied with Vienna being around that it affects every word they speak to him. It had to be Vienna. She was the only one, other than Gia, who really showed their vulnerability and trust in him. The others have issues (whether it's Vienna or baggage from the past) and it shows in their interaction.

For somebody that has been as insecure around women as Jakes claims he has been, that has to be a huge ego boost. She makes him feel good about himself, so he in turn feels good about her. It's a very seductive quality.

But its what every man wants... to be validated, loved, accepted and the only one in the room for his woman..

Maybe they are perfect for each. Maybe Jake isn't Mr. Perfect like he's been portrayed. Maybe he is MORE LIKE Vienna than HIS EDIT is showing. sdl did say one of his sources said Jake was the horniest bach since Jesse. So maybe the edit is Jake is Mr. Perfect and Vienna is Ms. Vixen the opposites attract... when in real life their personalities are both something somewhere in the middle. Just because Vienna is a biotch to the girls doesn't mean she is the love child of Satan. She could be using her biotchiness as her strategy to pick the other girls off one by one..

Love Jesse and glad I got to see more of her personality before she left the show. It would be fun to see another Canadian gal be the Bachelorette!

As far as Jake's attraction to Vienna and finding her "fire-ee", me thinks Jake is not necessarily thinking with his brain . . . .
