We did have Chelsea telling Matt about Shayne as he was walking her away. Is it possible that Tenley tells him a few things about Vienna when she's rejected, enough to change his mind about Vienna and he rejects her? We have heard him so far this season asking the girls what they know about her and what he's not seeing. The "I hope she says yes" could have been said by him prior to the FRC and he picks no one.

Maybe someone already said this but Vienna's "facebook" relationship says " it"s complicated." If you follow her friend's link to Jake his says the same thing.
