It sounds to me like Ali had a HTD as well. I'm not really getting anything from those comments that it was was a bad HTD, just perhaps a bit trying, but I think all of them would be stressful with all of the cameras & things all up in your face. Maybe TPTB wouldn't let Ali's family eat either.

Just caught up from last night. Everyone has great theories and information! Here's my theory.

Ali is being set up for the next bachelorette. There is alot of information in that article from the parents, kind of like a preview of what to expect from Ali. The article was in the paper Dec 29th less than a week to go before the premier.

Johnson said her daughter is fun-loving, practical and "real."

As opposed to mostly everyone else on the show who were fake?

Sounds like Ali is quite intelligent. Here is a thought. What if Ali had arranged with Facebook to have a picture posted on her site while on TB. Or a friend who works there. This photo could have taken place at any time and a someone else could have posted it on the site. (even a family member) This way it looks like she is eliminated early. Meanwhile, she continues the process. Just a thought....

Stranger things have happened. This is also my theory but I guess there is evidence that the picture was taken and posted on 11/20 at facebook HQ.

The 'everybody loves her' edit seems like a F3 edit, but that's only what CH said, not what the actual edit has shown us. I do think that everybody will fall in love with her, but maybe there's another girl that people will fall in love with also?

Allie is assuredly on the beach date, but I am now questioning if Allie is the first girl in yellow jacket with her back to us? Look at the bold highlight at the forehead in both the picture of Allie with her friends and the picture of the girl ( with hair up like Ali usually wears hers) next to the disputed girl that we have been calling Ashleigh.

Jake’s Take
This morning, just prior to the names of the women being announced, Jake held a conference call with reporters about the new season. I have to say I’m very confused about whether or not he actually found love on the show. He seemed to contradict himself back and forth many times during the call. When asked about how he approached the show Jake told one reporter, “I went in and said, ‘You know, very honestly, if I find love you know I’ll come out engaged. If I don’t find love and have that feeling, I won’t.’ So I didn’t promise a ring at the end of this and I stayed true to myself and didn’t necessarily do what everybody wanted me to do.”

I know what he meant by that was that he didn’t promise the producers he would definitely get engaged at the end. However, saying he didn’t necessarily do what everybody wanted him to do then, I’m led to believe maybe he didn’t propose to anyone at the end of the show? Because let’s face it, everybody who works on the show wants him to get down on bended knee because it makes for a better finale. Soon after Jake said this though he seemed to express that he had found somebody by saying, “I went into it, you know, on cloud nine and, you know, basically came out the same way.”

Thanks for posting...glad to see I'm not the only one that is completely confused by Jake right now. Although, if he went into it on could nine (single) and left on cloud nine (still single), it can also support his not having chosen anyone and his comment that he didn't do what everyone wanted him to. Makes sense? idk

It's sounds that way to me. However, it didn't sound like a all that great experience. Nothing is sounding Final 1 to me at all!

Well think about it, it is very possible that she had a HTD and then was cut the very next RC...........I can understand then why it may have not been a great experience!

Jake lives on Cloud Nine. His office is at 3,000 feet remember? Anyway, just sticking my nose in here to say that I agree with the Gia/Ali-Good Girl vs. Bad Girl scenario. I haven's sleuthed this like you all have. (I always make it a point to get away from the show between seasons ) But I am always cognizant of the fact that these souless monsters we call 'producers' are first and foremost: storytellers.

They insert as much drama as they can to keep the show fresh but they work from a template that is timeless. It's as new and fresh as Shakespeare or Jane Austin. Unless a Bachelor goes rogue (Womack) they want to craft and show us a story that is something familiar. Good vs. Evil is just fine. There is no telling how much of this was pre-scripted (they hired Jake for a reason) but if they can give us a story that is familiar but still fresh, they will do it. Good theories, folks.

Another explanation for that photo is that it is of Jake arriving for the 4/3 Rose Ceremony. Why would he escort the F4 to the street side of the limo and not place her in the car at curbside? For that matter why would he exit the limo at street side rather than curbside? Either way it looks to be either an awkward entrance for Jake or exit for the F4.

The reason I think this is the 4/3 Rose Ceremony is that the Beverly Wilshire is in LA. They leave the mansion at the F9 and hold two ceremonies in Northern CA. Coming back to LA, but not the mansion, for the 4/3 cut and they would need a place to hold the ceremony. Also, I haven't read that this hotel is featured in any date scenario in LA before they leave for the north.

As usual, there is probably something wrong with my supposition and atem or Ryvetted or anyone else are more than free to correct me. LOL. What I found most interesting about the photo was the use of the street side rather than curbside door.

Good to see you Blondie! What have you been up to? I wish you would stay and post with us. You have that eye for the little things that some of us miss.

Referring back to the rose petals that were found in Tessa and Andy's bathtub.........I believe that the producers since then are new and have different ways of editing, so I am not sure we can count on the F1 getting the rose petals anymore. Last Bachelor season, Molly (F2) had the rose petals.

Rose pedals have always had a major significance - being in Canada I've had the advantage of the Cosmo channel running/rerunning all the bach and ette seasons over the last year and the only time rose pedals were used and seen has been for the final 1, except for when Sadie got white rose pedals, and Jen got red ones.

Molly not only got rose pedals in the tub, she got them on the bed and on her dinner table. Leads more credence to the "F2 becomes F1" that was leaked as a riddle during the season. But I can't remember the exact riddle.

I'm not sure when they started using roses, but I think, think, think it did start with Lorenzo.
