But we don't know how much is true, scripted, planned, and paid for. And now that RS "spilled" almost two weeks early, TPTB have plenty of time to do damage control. The reality is, we'll never truly know how it all went down. It won't stop me from watching the end and next season, MINUS the speculation. The hate and drama about things we don't really know to be false/true is a little too much. I'm not going to focus my own energy on such things. I will keep watching... taking nothing at face value, for sure. If Melissa was an innocent victim in this whole mess, I do feel bad for her. (if she's true, she is my favorite) However, I have to question the character of anyone who still applies to be on this show, with its horrible track record and the puppet master producers, to find "love". She set herself up for the fall...
Record it for later but My friends and I think that after being Fleissed 2 times in 2 seasons we're not going to give them any ratings..........I hope it blows big time and the backlash is in Titanical proportions.
As I said when I first found out about JAWS 4: The Bachelor, you betcha.
I'll have my screwtop bottle of champagne (hic!), disposable glasses smartly engraved with "To the Happy Couple," rather than names, since I anticipate that the female leading role may again change before the After After After, . . . let's see . . . what else? Oh yeah, I'll be wearing my I Went to Eagle's Nest and All I Got Was a Swim in a Cage With the Mechanical Sharks T-shirt . . . am I forgetting anything that's de rigeur?
I have decided to record it. This way I can ff through anything I don't like or want to see and miss silly commercials. I will get through it quicker that way. I also won't be contributing to their ratings.
I am definitely done with this show for good. I already decided that this would be my last Bachelor. I guess I should be grateful to them for making it so much easier, but I just hate to see anybody humiliated or hurt on national TV. That will not be something I look forward to watching.

I just don't get why so many believe Reality Steve. He hasn't been a sleuth. This whole thing stinks of THE MATT. Remember him? Total nonsense, but some swallowed it hook, line and sinker.
Fleiss has sent so many false posters over here through the years, that I'm skeptical of any new revelation or source. Give me confirmed evidence, not one guy's fantasy.
The networks are getting online viewing counted for ratings. With some shows, it's as much as 10% of the viewership.DVR viewings count too. DVRs are in about 28% of American homes now. They don't get added to the overnight ratings, but they are added to the finals. Any viewings, upto seven days after airing are counted.
If you watch live (or VCR/DVD recorded), your viewing only counts if you are a Nielsen household. DVRs, like TiVO, send a list of what you watch (& when) to the company that programs the device. They pass that along to Nielsen. OnDemand sends in viewership info too (but The Bachelor isn't being shown there). The online views are just starting to be counted.
So if you really want to mess with them, hold a viewing party at a non-Nielsen location, and watch live. That will allow a lot of people to watch without being counted. Or peep in somebody's window while they're watching.
