| Why would they make AFRC private? OK, I don't see this mentioned anywhere - pardon if it is.... During the previews after Deanna's return (I was nearly comatose again), CH makes a big deal out of saying that there will be no outside audience for AFRC. So the audience is AFRC#2, also known herefter as SAFRC (Son Of After the Final Rose Ceremony)? Any thoughts about what gives? and b/c they got me! |

| Re: Why would they make AFRC private? I think the private one is for Mel's parents since they do not like publicity. They may be there but maybe shown in the shadows????? I don't know.

| Re: Why would they make AFRC private? Last season with De, TPTB knew the outcome of De choosing Jesse was not going to go over well. However, TPTB had no clue of how unwell it was going to go. They closed the set to an open audience. They had basically a hired audience, with some of De's VIPs and a smattering of standers in line. When the audience viewed the last episode and saw which bachelor (Jason) exit the limo first, there was an audible gasp and people saying "OH NO!!". There were immediate leaks to message boards regarding the outcome. This season, TPTB grew a brain. They are closing the set to all but a few intimate sources. Whatever that means. If this was a "good" thing--they would want the audience cheering and a gala affair.

| Re: Why would they make AFRC private? I don't think there is any mystery to this anymore among those here who have some factual basis to separate made-up stuff from sourced-stuff. During that show, which taped mid January, he dumps Melissa, and picks up where he left off with Molly. Insert moving footage of their respective JOURNEYS. 1. Jason has to follow his heart. 2. Molly is chosen. (Can she avoid a homewrecker edit? Was Ty exposed to Melissa a lot between Nov 25 and Jan 23 or so? Did he get enough mentoring?! LOL.) 3. Melissa is dumped and crushed. CLIFFHANGER to ATFR Part Two. All's well that ends well, Melissa has a boyfriend now. Jason is still with Molly. Coz it is indeed true love forever in Fleissy-land. What's missing from the above is only the exciting details of what went down in New Zealand, and in the weeks after the FRC to justify Jason making this stunning switch. So, that will be fun to read or watch or both. |

| Re: Why would they make AFRC private? I see Molly as wanting to win and doing so at all costs. No one will want to watch that wedding! But I am sure they will tune in for the second ATFR. |

If this is the way it goes down ... how would you feel being sloppy thirds in less than one year? DeAnna, Melissa ... and Molly jumps at the chance? Those are going to be interesting family dinners at Molly's house. ![]() | |

| Re: Why would they make AFRC private? What the h*ll must have happened? Chris said: (something like) And NOTHING could have prepared us for what happened NEXT.... Then you see him on the set of AFR, explainning before anyone comes onstage: (something close to) What you're about to witness is potentially so dramatic and so emotionally difficult, that we decided to keep the taping of tonite's show as intimate as possible, out of respect for the parties involved. (Which cracked me up, because of course they're going to show it on national television anyway). But, it sounds like something bad happened at the FRC and they were expecting fallout at AFR. |
