Oh, I think the Bachelor has enough drama in it.

I just think that everybody is overthinking it. I think the FRC is going to be like every other one, F2 arrives and leaves feeling sad and rejected - F1 arrives feeling nervous and then gets her happy ending and a big honking ring. RS just found out that tptb messed with some footage to confuse us. It doens't change the end result, it's just going to have us scratching our heads as we see the girls getting ready - cause it's not going to match the sc's that we've been given. No babies, no aliens, no ex wives, no Deanna, no weddings - just a happy ending, and Fleiss will have a little bit of a "gotcha" to the sleuthers.

I agree. Anything we can and have imagined is far grander than what will actually happen.

I have to agree with you. The sleuthers have it right. I think the "shocker" and the fact that "abc finally grew a brain" is that they listened to the fans and actually showed us the love story. In fact, I think it was so obvious that they *had to show it. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but, I stand behind the wonderful sleuthers here!

Do you think that RS is saying that Melissa is not the F1?

I thought he was insinuating that while we are all busy looking at freckles and a pinky ring and deciphering who the F1 is, we are missing the bigger picture and there is more to the story than we know. Not necessarily that we are wrong about the F1, but that the bombshell is the back story or how it all unfolds.

that is basicallly what I believe as well - he's as much said that if they don't show the big shocker, to read his site the next day and he'll tell us what it was - now if it was a change in the F1 that has been sluethed out, we wouldn't need to read his page to know this......

I agree RS may have some super secret but its not going to change who is F1. Every season we try not to believe what is right before our eyes. Remember the picture of Brad alone with the ring? Huge clue he chose no one, (he looks dejected, not torn or upset, just down) It was even dark, indicating the FRC was over. Now we have a shot of Jason proposing, kissing a hand that looks so much like Melissa but we are coming up with all kinds of fun theories on why its not the actual proposal, etc. but in the end it probably is.

There may well be a secret but I still think Melissa is F1.

I have posted and read just about every possible scenerio out there from F1 rejecting Jason and giving him his ring back ( that would be shocking! ) to Jason reconsidering another (:nono ~ RS said no one comes back) to neither gal wanting him ( ) to his considering De (she is with someone else so that cannot be it) to nuptials (bizarre theory ). I never considered Jason walking away from both gals due to the screencaps, but that already happened in Brad's season. I cannot imagine what else it could be at this point. I have been trying to wrap my brain around ALL possibilities.

A few of us were not shocked that Brad walked away at the FRC, so I will just go back to watching the show (hopefully it will liven up) and figure it out from there. To me at least Brad did have an exciting season to watch. This current season reminds me of watching Bob's season, except Bob was a funny guy even with his tongue down everyone's throat.

Screencaps show us what happened, and the edit always tells us the lead-up story (well, except for De's season when the intended F1 went home early), so I will just have to go with that telling us the answer since I am unable to do this ~ .

I don’t know if this has been proposed, but what if the big shocker was that, prior to the FRC, both F2 girls were offered money (or some kind of fame-related deal) to back out. This would let Jason and the viewing audience know if the one he proposes to is really in love with him, or if she’s in love with the supposed opportunities the extended publicity could offer. Jason was burned last time because DeAhna was really looking for fame instead of what she claimed to want. It also might explain his anguish on the balcony. Maybe he’s upset because he got word that somebody took the deal. I know we have the PDG SC, but TPTB might still want them to meet and discuss things. Or maybe Melissa originally decided to take the deal, he was told and got upset, but then she later changed her mind.

since we have to read his column the day after to get the full scoop I think it is a secret that is not entirely revealed on the show. I don't think the $ thing is it, too much of a take off from another show - for love or money.
maybe its something more like one of the girl reveals to a crew member that she isn't ready to be a stepmom (even though she interacted well with Ty) and the news gets back to Jason and though he was torn makes his decision. Or some other similar issue. Its not revealed to viewers to protect Jason's status with f1. (wouldn't want her to think she one by default) just speculating, still think f1 is melissa

I don't think there is a wedding but I do think its possible that Fliess finally got smart and may have gotten the sluethers so we may be actually shocked at the ending.

I've got a question here. If Jay met Mel before the show, then why does he do the B13 AND have Mel in it? Has anyone asked this question yet? Don't see the logic here; couldn't he just have dated Mel w/o the cameras to see where their relationship would go?

Just a guess here. Maybe one of the F5/F4 quits instead of waiting to see if she isn't going to get a rose.
