The more I read everyone's posts the more I'm actually looking forward to Ali as the next B'ette. First of all, I don't care one way or the other for her, so I can remain emotionally detached which always makes the season more fun and less stressful. Second, it will be a laugh to see her have to decide between what is sure to be the "fan favorite" vs the "bad boy" - and you know that's going to happen - because some of the love that her fans have for her is bound to be tarnished a bit as a result. Just think back to Jason. Third, there's bound to be eye candy for me AND the B'ette seasons always seem more lighthearted to me, less catty. Fourth, I am thinking the above posts are probably correct. We may *think* we know Ali, but just wait till Fleiss has his way with her. The edit could take us anywhere, and it could be interesting to see what her character ends up as on this show.
Now that you put it that way I just may be looking forward to it too!!Originally Posted by sweetpea;3840371;
Yes, there's definitely a hefty measure of "spin" going on with that process.Originally Posted by Tiggerlgh;3840263;
She regretted NOT choosing love with the Jake vs. Facebook decision, she made a mistake and now when given this "incredible opportunity to find love" (since, of course, she had strong feelings and KNOWS it can happen), she is taking the bigger risk and putting love first. It's great marketing spin - brilliant, actually, the way it's all played out for her season. I imagine there's a grain of truth in there somewhere that the show pulled out like taffy to make a reasonable and understandable motivation for her to go through with this.
When we see her season start, it's going to be all about how she fell for Jake, but because she was afraid and unwilling to put her heart above her head, she lost the man she loved. Now, she is taking that risk and putting love first...Taking the leap. Cue dramatic music, her theme song, a few shots of her looking pensive over the balcony, walking along the ocean... and she's all set and ready to change her life for the "man of her dreams."
And you know if we hear any instrumental underpinings of "You're The Inspiration" that Jake is destined to arrive at some point in her season.
THAT'S ^ exactly how I felt about Jake and his season!Originally Posted by sweetpea;3840371;

Makes a huge difference when they're willing to throw enough money at her that she won't have to worry about working for quite some time. Jason still hasn't returned to work and probably will never have to. Didnt' Trista and Ryan get 1-2 mil for their televised wedding?Originally Posted by Tiggerlgh;3840263;

Reality Steve's interview with Rozlyn is really a long one! I guess he couldn't ask about the sex tape being true or not. I must admit I didn't hear the whole thing....didn't get the steam up for it.
