Why is a later decision about who to marry or an after-the-fact final rose ceremony a jaw-dropper or big surprise, though? In my opinion, it seems like something VERY prudent!!!
My thoughts based on only this one clue: K Moon/Rebecca = Jason separated from Melissa.
This fits in with the idea of him going back to LA for a while. If Molly was there too, the time with her (and apart from Mel) might have been what it took to convince him that he really wanted to be with Mel. Maybe missing her was what did it for him!Originally Posted by FanOfUnrealTV;3305947;
Or, if Molly was a plant, then he just needed time and space to think about it. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.....
Finally, if that Myspace page is real, it would explain the absence of Molly. Certainly, Mel would be upset with Molly for coming between her and Jason. And even if she eventually found out that Molly was a plant, she might still be upset with her for putting her through so much heartache.

RS: I didn’t really want to answer this question, because the more “Nope. Not it” emails and answers I give out, the more theories get eliminated, thus, bringing people closer to the truth. I can’t shoot down EVERYTHING that isn’t right, because there wouldn’t be any fun in that. Gotta let some theories still linger out there. However, I will now answer this question because it seems to be one of the more popular ones being thrown around. The answer is no.

wasn't this kind of theory thrown around during Deanna's season - I think it was that she initially chose Jason and went home and changed her mind and went back and chose Jesse......theories are endless!!

So, Molly is not a plant. All I can say is I hope there is more to her than what is being shown on the show. She just does not seem especially warm or exciting. I can't tell if it's because she is just trying to win, or if she lacks expressive range.
The funny thing is that Molly seems to have more Jason's personality than Mel does. Jason and Molly are both low-key and stoic, while Mel is very emotive and animated. They have more of a yin/yang thing going.
