If TPTB had at least come up with a viable excuse.
The excuse is Ty is not ready to end his time with Daddy, or something to that effect and that is why Jason can not be there. Ty doesn't want to go to bed yet or isn't ready to--well--HELLO--that's what Larry is for.

The excuse is not ---ooops there is a real emergency like someone is at the ER or the car is dead, etc.
This is wimp wimp wimp.
This paints the picture of what the woman can expect anytime Ty's shoelace needs tying. What's next?
"Mel, hunni, I can't make it to Lamaze class tonight there is a SpongeBob special on that I promised Ty?"
"Mel, I'm on the way to the delivery room, don't push yet. Hunni, don't you remember I promised Ty ice cream and burgers for dinner?"

I am not trying to sound glib --a real emergency is an emergency and should be taken seriously. This is no emergency. To alter plans under these circumstances show little respect for the other party involved. JMO

I've seen that before and I'm sorry, but being around that girl would drive me nuts!! She over-emotes, and the voices she does are sooo irritating. I'm a pretty laid back person and the mother of 2 boys so I've never had to listen to that ..... best of luck to you Jason, you have my sympathies

I've seen that before and I'm sorry, but being around that girl would drive me nuts!! She over-emotes, and the voices she does are sooo irritating. I'm a pretty laid back person and the mother of 2 boys so I've never had to listen to that ..... best of luck to you Jason, you have my sympathies

What some find irritating others find endearing. Hopefully if Jason picked her, he is in the latter category. Lord knows, some would find my DH annoying!
