| Re: Bachelor 13: Body Language **Spoilers!** I think Jason looked like he was going to have a nervous breakdown last night. I went back and re-watched parts of it without the sound on and he looked awful, like he was going to hurl any minute. He looks like he has been through the meat grinder. Did anyone else see how stressed out he looked? |

I did. I'm glad he took a few minutes before going back to the RC site to compose himself. | |

| Re: Bachelor 13: Body Language **Spoilers!** That is exactly what my daughter and I were talking about last night. If it was that hard to let Jill go, then the anguish he must feel at letting F2 go. I think that really does explain the balcony scene. After letting F2 go he has to take some considerable amount of time to compose himself before he can go on to F1.

| Re: Bachelor 13: Body Language **Spoilers!** Listening to Jason question Molly about the couch space between her parents on the HTD, I think he is pretty attuned to body language. When she confirms that her family isn't mushy-gushy, that's pretty different from Jason's personality. So his choice is between Molly and her family, none of whom express their emotions easily, and Melissa, whose emotions are obvious to all but he hasn't yet met her family to know what they are like. I think there was an instant connection with Melissa from day one and I highly suspect her parents' no-show was scripted to make it look like somebody else had a chance. Molly make have come close, but in the end, Melissa's #1. I think Jason knew about the scripting, but Melissa didn't, and hence some drama in the final episode. |

| Re: Bachelor 13: Body Language **Spoilers!** RS never mentions the exact moment when Fleiss stirred up the pot this season. He believes (from his source) that it was "from the beginning", but I really doubt that is true. The edits favoring Mel go back to the first show, but this is just editing, and we all know how much of a "drama king" Fleiss is. Editing can support any story. So, maybe Fleiss didn't come up with his "brilliant" idea until later in the actual filming of the show. I believe the crew saw the connection with Molly right from the start, and were rooting for them all along. That's not to say Jason wasn't also attracted to Melissa, because we know this is true by watching his body language (touching) in the first handful of episodes. But somewhere around the hometown dates he made his final choice, and chose Molly. Go back and watch the fantasy dates. Notice his body language with Melissa and with Jillian. Notice the way he appears to be "studying" them as they are sharing their feelings. He is almost disconnected and pulling away. He closes his eyes part way, and tilts his head and chin. He's almost uncomfortable listening to them. Notice his sailing trip with Melissa. He sits on the boat with his hands behind him the entire time. She is the only one initiating the physical contact and touching. When they are in the hot tub, he keeps his hands on her face, and almost seems to be keeping distance between them. Again, he is studying her and trying to smile politely when she is speaking about her parents. Almost as if he isn't interested. As for Jillian's hot tub, I believe Jillian surprised him, and blew him away physically. Only they know how far things went that night, and how long the hot tub scene actually lasted. It's possible things cooled quickly once they left the tub. Only they know for sure. But the one thing I do know is that he spent the rest of his date studying her with his eyes half closed, his head tilted, and his chin lifted. This doesn't tell me he was still considering her for F1. Now watch his date with Molly. Notice the cheesy smile as she was running towards him. Watch how his eyes are wide open the entire time they are talking. He even has some "baby talk" moments, ala Trista. There is no question he has chosen Molly at this point. He is totally open to her during their date. Next, Molly comes out with the million dollar comment "What if you choose the wrong one and regret it". THIS is the moment I think Fleiss comes up with his "brilliant" ending, and sees a way to make the season unique and dramatic. THIS is the point when I think Fleiss approached Jason and somehow came up with a deal (maybe even one Jason couldn't afford to turn down for whatever reason). Choose Melissa, date both of them for a few months, then, if the connection with Molly is still as strong as it is in New Zealand, break up with Melissa, and keep Molly. I sincerely doubt Fleiss told Jason he would be breaking up with Melissa in a manner that would humiliate her, and I suspect Jason wasn't happy with the way the ATFR1 was manipulated. WHY would Jason agree to this? I'm still not sure. But, I'm giving him a "slight" benefit of the doubt and hoping that he believes he was doing it for the right reasons. The jury is still out as far as I am concerned. |

| Re: Bachelor 13: Body Language **Spoilers!** Maybe his agony on the balcony was actually guilt over hurting Molly, when he really wanted to have her as his F1 but was convinced (strong armed), by Fleiss, to let her go and choose Melissa temporarily. This would show even more convincingly that it was Molly all along. |
