RS has become friends with Jeremy from Dee's season. Jeremy's new girlfriend is also a former DCC. The grapevine is getting info from both sides.

Jeremy's g/f is not former DCC - she is present DCC - a rookie - never on the squad with Melissa. Jeremy and his g/f would have NO clue what has happened regarding the show - think about it - even the gals on the show don't have a clue either. I also don't think Jeremy would rat out a friend of his either.
