Plus she knows how to play to the camera and if she really found someone suited to her it very well could end in TV marriage which would be great for ratings!!!!!!
No way could I stomach another season of the "Shayne show"

Don't want the next bachelorette to be Shayne. I'd rather see a fresh new face..someone honestly wanting to do this show for reasons other than acting careers.

Totally agree. There has to be a real good woman out there that would be a fresh face for the show and in it for the right reasons.

The problem is that for them this is a catch 22.

They need a really strong draw. A celebrity would be fantastic, but a celebrity does not need to go on the Bachelorette "to find the love of her life."

That is the premise of the show, and while it may not be realistic, people tune in to see someone find that romantic utopia.

While a "re-tread" is old hat, she is familiar, she is a good draw, and she is (ostensibly) believable in the role of seeking the love of her life.

Can they find someone well-known enough to be a good draw who is at the same time credible as to needing to search for her love on a reality tv show?

I read an interview with CH and he said they aren't looking for a particular "type". But they are just looking for a regular person like Jason who is going to be there to truly find someone and not just there for the instant celebrity status. He basically said it could be anyone (you know but still a woman) haha He also said this will be the first time in Bachelorette history where it won't be a retread

A fresh face would be wonderful...but she will have to come with a "whopper" of heart jerking story to make the audience buy into the fact that she is looking for love...

Talk about killing a series...if Shanye comes back, I would :puke

I would like to see Jillian, Sadie...someone new would be best though, I think.

I'm not sure if I like the idea of someone new or a retread......the bach's I liked the most were new - Charlie, Brad, Andrew, Andy (yes I liked Andy). The retreads I didn't like so much - Jen, Deanna, Blob, don't have an opinion on Meredith or Trista.

    Jump the shark?

I think they need to be careful about who they pick. Personally I think the show is getting ready to jump the shark. If they pick the wrong person...it will more then jump the shart...it'll blow the shark outta the water.
