Yes, they are right when they say screencaps don't lie! I was one of those who fought everything they said! There was no way those weren't Sadie's hands, lol!! Now I have just learned to believe them. I knew F1 right from the beginning. Could I honestly say I wasn't swayed knowing that? No, I don't know if I would have had a different favorite. But I am happy I know, this way, I am not disappointed at all!

But you see the sleuthers told you from what they had found out that there was no way Lauren could be in the F2 either. She was posting on Myspace too early to still be filming. When the evidence is there, you go with it!

The thing about it is that when the predictions are finally made, they aren't made on "I think so and so". They are made based on the solid evidence found, and that often excludes the favorites of even those top sleuthers who do choose to have one.

NuttyI wanted Jen's hands to be Sadie's too. Not so much because I liked PLo but because I thought Sadie was so darn cute. Even I in the end knew it would be Jen so I was too disappointed.
And then I was in the yacht with Bettina and on the ferris wheel with Amanda.

So this year I decided to find out who was the favorite before I watched the first show. It helps that there is more concrete evidence this year. When they first showed Jillian I really liked her but told myself not to get attached to her. I like Melissa too and might have ended favoring her over Jillian anyway, but knowing ahead of time will save me a lot of frustration.

For those of us who have a tendency to relate to, associate with, or become too emotionally involved with a contestant ( and I freely admit I have done so a couple of times in the fairly distant past), it is a good thing to know who wins up front. That way if you don't get too stuck on somebody, you can figure out how it all develops, then sit back and enjoy the show.

I should clarify my last post. I think Jillian is a great girl and really don't dislike any of the girls. I have learn not to trust the edit TPTB give these girls (in most cases anyway) I just didn't want to get attached to another F3 or F2. Like nutty said I have in the past become emotionally involved. Even in Melissa's case I am trying to keep a level head.

For exactly that reason, I really love this site and wished I'd found it earlier to avoid the shock of my fave F2 getting heartbroken. My question is, why does the network let these screencaps out, or how do they get out there so our wonderful sleuthers can study them??

Well stated, Bloomers. It is human nature to relate or bond with those that are like ourselves. Maybe this is why we've seen so many not relate to the edited versions of Moana/Jenni/Shayne/Melissa while they like the edited versions of Sarah/Noelle/Amanda that we are shown.

ABC/Fleiss definitely let those SCs be released, it's free publicity!! These message boards wouldn't exist without them.

the only season I remember that the FORTers weren't right was during Deanna's season. they had the F2 down very early, even with the previews and SCs were released for the FRC people were still convinced it was jason and not Jesse.

I learned my 'emotional' lesson during Andy's season - since then I watch for the edit and do not get invested in anyone. I like Jilly and know she leaves at F3. I trust the FORTers, they've never steered us wrong when it came down to the F2.
