I am loving the return of Prince Jason as well. I didn't like DeAnna much, but I loved the way he was so supportive of her. It's the role he was born to play, and Melissa is the perfect co-star. Sexy, cute, sweet, outgoing......and totally into him and in need of comfort and reassurance? Perfection!

I wanted so much for Andy to pick Bevin. It's unrealistic to expect it, but I almost felt that Tessa should have bowed out. She just didn't seem that into him.

Jason is saying that he was in love with his F2 and I firmly believe Andy was in love with Bevin and Tessa. Andy having to say good-bye to Bevin was gut wrenching (I just watched it again Friday). And watching Bevin be rejected made me cry - again......

Under different circumstances, I believe that Andy and Jason could've easily had a wonderful live with their respective F2s. (Although right now we dont' have the necessary footage to see it with Molly)

Melissa definitely does have insecurities. It's sincere. And it's not just the editing. I saw it when watching her on the CMT show. I've only seen a couple small clips from the first season but in one of them the choreographers are in a room discussing which girls they have concerns about and deciding which ones to cut. The lead choreographer (I think her name's Kelly?) says that she has some concerns about Melissa and another choreographer (Kitty) didn't know Melissa by name but saw who she was talking about and said "Oh, the shy one".

Although, I don't think Melissa was shy so much as she was scared of Kitty, lol. As Melissa confirmed in Season 2. Kitty called her out for messing something up. And Melissa said that after being on the team for a year, she still made her nervous. (Anyone who's seen that show will understand why!)

Thanks for the reminder of Melissa's shyness issues in the preparations for the calendar shoot on Making the Team. I've only seen a few snippets of Melissa on that show, but that's a really good point. After watching the sneak preview of tonight's episode, it seems pretty clear that Melissa's "doubt" as F1 will be a combination of trying to hide their physical chemistry, play up her goofy side, and highlight her natural tendencies - to be critical of herself (she said that to Jason last week; said something similar on MTT) and her worries about "being unlucky in love."

I just hope they continue to show more and more of her connection with Jason and how he responds to her. THAT speaks 100x more to me than any edit technique, voiceover or PI could, though they're laying that foundation, too. He's a much more uh.. masculine : version of himself than I ever saw with Deanna, or so far, with anyone else on this season.

He's comfortable with her, he's also protective and reassuring. Let's just say she brings out the best in him.

I also hope they don't belabor the "I'm insecure" angle of the edit. I think it's safe to say that Melissa is getting the "I'm falling in love, will I get my happy ending?" storyline. Molly is getting an as yet unclear edit. I doubt it will just be "I'm sneaky and sexy." Hopefully that will be more clear after tonight!

If they focus too much on the doubt, and less on the connection, then people reach conclusions which are unfavorable. Example - Tessa's doubt was that she was "unsure of the process." Andy wound up chasing her the whole season. Take it too far, and she was viewed as "playing hard to get."

This season, if Melissa's doubt and insecurity is taken too far, people will think she's desperate. Don't do that, editors!

\I vote for the bolded/underlined part...umfortunately that has beent he only side we have seen

Molly's story hasn't popped out yet, I agree completely. WAY too early to judge the eventual quality/nature of her relative standing in the competition. The ending (F2) cannot be reconciled with what's been shown thus far, but by FRC there will be plenty of missing pieces filled in.
