That is what I was saying......... I was saying that the look on Jillian's face if anything was a look of disbelief..... and that is correct, Jillian did say that she was surprised to get another rose on the group date.

We know she is a capable and confident woman in the real world. You can't beat out 600+ women for a spot on the DCC, perform in front of thousands and be heavily involved in the Cowboys many charitable endeavors and be anything less than confident. It takes good people skills and a level of maturity to get along with a large group of beautiful, talented women. It's unfortunate that a small percentage of people want to denigrate women that dance/cheer. Go Melissa!

ITA with the bolded..that one would have to be confident, plus also competitive in beating out 600+ women and also love to perform in dancing with the DCCs...I just wonder why they are showing Melissa as being so insecure, if she is in fact, so confident. She is obviously competitive, and she has experience in front of the cameras already, and is used to being in a large group of women competing for the same prize/end result and winning it. Why show so much insecurity I wonder? The mind ponders. Thanks

The producers need some type of 'doubt' when it comes to Melissa, so maybe this is all they can come up with since her and Jason's connection is so obvious as the show progresses. In the end they want suspense for the final episode so maybe they will portray Molly as the confident one and really play up any romantic time between her and Jason, and Melissa's role/character in the suspense will be "will the shy, insecure, sweet girl get her heart broken and have a one sided love once again?"

My point is that she is a confident woman, able to get along in a group of beautiful women . She doesn't get involved in drama and can be happy for another nice woman that gets a group date rose. She doesn't have to aggressively pursue a man ~ she can be pursued.

Even a confident woman would struggle knowing a sexually confident & aggressive woman had spent the night with the same man that is pursuing her. Follow that up with a day of watching him "kiss" other women. That would shake any woman's confidence ~ that involves your heart.

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough in my original post.

I don't think you can equate someone's confidence in their career with their confidence (or lack of) in their personal life. IF Melissa is indeed falling love with Jason at this point, she has every reason to be insecure - there are still 9 ladies left at this point, and unless he tells her she's going to be her F1, her insecurities are very valid.
