She only "joined in on some of the talk about the other girls" once in the whole show. And it was not negative. She was in a bedroom with Stephanie, Lauren and Shannon. I thought it was similar to how Jason told the other guys last season about how different Deanna was when she was around Graham. Both Jason and Melissa noticed the Bachelor/Bachelorette's body language when they were around the other guys/girls.

ITA! I don't think Melissa's edit last episode was a "knocked off her pedistal", but they are showing her storyline which is insecurity. Can she over come it??? Just like Tessa's baby steps.

First of all the "Melissa Rycroft" on facebook (used quotes because still not sure if its the real her hehe) said that she watched the show every Monday with a bunch of her friends which to me is another topic in itself. But also remember that there is going to be alot of stuff Jason and Melissa went through (if she is the F1) that we didn't see. She is probably excited to see herself on Tv and then is sitting there going where the heck am I? I think those two really KNOW what happened and it shouldnt make a huge difference especially if it was so spectacular when they were together. I don't really think Jason is being that bad a few kisses here or there some not even that great not to mention he might have even had his beer goggles on some of the time at the RC. But I guess we will see in the upcoming episodes just how bad it will get.

The tent thing would be a big deal but again I think that is just a edit VO of the moaning and they want you to think more happened... She was also wearing his clothes before they even went to bed so its not like she was naked and then put his on and I think the F1 will have to laugh at some of the editing choices.

In regards to the falling in love. I believe that feelings deepened and all that but I think the falling in love with two women was an ABC thing since the rollercoaster analogy came up in more than one interview. I am sure Jason has repeatedly told his F1 that is really wasnt like that... and if he didn't reassure her that is wasnt true and he did in fact fall in love with two women ... haha wow any man can tell him that he is the stupidest guy on the planet and if he really that clueless ... I don't even know F1 GET OUT RIGHT NOW. The only guy in the world that can get away with saying he is in love with two women is Hugh Hefner.

Good point. I have been in a similiar situation (strong feelings for 2 women at the same time). In my case, there was a strong physical chemistry with one while the chemistry with the other was on a different level. I am not sure how to explain it, its that 'we've known each other for years and we can talk about anything with' type of chemistry. Both were educated, funny, attractive, etc, but the connection was different. It was like I didn't see how physically attractive the second one was since our connection was on a different level.

Since he has a tendency to test the physical connection first (kiss anything that gets within 2 feet), I think he is confusing lust with that other 4 letter word.. :~)

That is a fairly accurate depiction of The Bachelor in general. What is that saying about "art mimicing life"?

I can see being attracted to 2 people at the same time, especially under the circumstances that the Bach/ette find themselves in. I think until we've been in their shoes, it's impossible for us to say it's "impossible" to be in love with 2 people. Do they actually fall "in love" in the true sense of the word in that time period or does one fade fast when they leave and the other grows over time? I'd think we'd have to experience it to know what they are talking about.

If you will notice, Trista never said one time that she had fallen in love with two guys. She said she was falling, but she only said she fell in love with and loved one. It was the same thing for Meredith.

Who the heck knows what DeAnna really felt for Jesse. The editing and what she said indicated it was probably Graham, so that season as an example is a farce.

Women have a better handle on the emotional issues.

The men are different. Until P-Lo who basically said he felt the same for both of them, the Bachelors always said they were falling for two women - not that they had fallen in love with two women.

For the first time in Bach history, Andy told two women that he loved them which caused chaotic confusion amongst the viewers. Of course, the editing showed he was physically in love with Bevin and emotionally in love with Tessa - he even said as much.

I think men do confuse physical lust with love for a while until they realize their emotions are engaged.

Jason has said several times that he was juggling these relationships: which one was physical, which one was friendship, which one met his need for adventure, which one met more than one need, etc.

Obviously, Molly turns Jason's physical crank. That is her edit from the start, and that is what we are going to see intimated with the "Moaning Molly in the tent adventure" Shelley ( love the alliterative imagery) on Monday throughout until the FRC.

He does love Molly (physically), and I am sure he came to care about her a lot as a woman in her own right, but was it enough to overcome what he felt for another woman?

See this where the current editing has me confused and is sending out some odd messages. I say this because from my viewpoint Melissa is the one that he is all hot and bothered for - she's the one he's always touching and has his body wrapped around either on the screen or in the media pics.

Jillian's appeal is obvious to me - fun loving, independent, successful and intellectual - a woman that has it going on.

Molly's allure, other than overt confidence and polish, is still elusive to me. Maybe it's the mystery that captivates him, too.

I'm right there with you on not really seeing the all out physical chemistry with Molly, but I do think he likes her. I personally think it's just her edit and storyline so they've built up whatever physical evidence they can just to go along with this story. It will be interesting to see her story develop.

On one of the other threads, some of the other posters were calling Molly's coming home in Jason's clothes what they used to call in college, "The walk in shame."
They may be trying to paint Molly as a bit of a bad girl ( "I'm a good kisser, Want to see?" Spends the night on her first date, hears moans, sees her come home in his clothes instead of hers.)
I definitely got the "come hither" vibe from Molly's edit, but I think they are going to try and paint her with going after him using all of her sexual allures as tools whereas Melissa's sexual pull just naturally happens like when they kiss or when they are talking and he comforts her while subconsciously rubs her leg the whole time.
One will end up the sexual pull with the emotion, while the other will be more of just the sexual pull.
