| Re: What's up with that edit??!!
If I was the Bach - I wouldn't want my F1 to watch either. Even though he was going through a process and isn't "cheating" - it's still got to be embarrassing for them all to watch. I know I wouldn't want my husband to have watched footage of me with an ex-boyfriend before we met - even though it wouldn't be cheating on him, I'd still wouldn't want him to feel uncomfortable. Jason just wants to spare his F1's feelings - nothing wrong with that.
Perhaps he is trying to get his own feelings spared? I strongly suspect that he would like to avoid her watching him make-out with all of the other women, and I am very sure he would like to avoid her reaction to him doing it when she gets over being hurt and gets mad instead. To heck with all the rationalization. The heart doesn't listen to all of that rot. ![]()

Exactly Bloomers TPTB are showing us what they want to further storylines and give the girls their 'character' edit. What I found interesting is what they did with Natalie's edit up until her date with Jason. I remember Melissa saying she thought Natalie would come back from the date because Natalie and Jason connection or something to that effect. And the girls said the drama was gone when Natalie left. Shannon is impersonating her at the end in the credits. It seems there was much more going on with Natalie but TPTB didn't go that direction with Natalie's edit. I guess they had enough resident troublemakers to work with.

So I get where he's coming from. He knows how hard it will be for her to watch the show. And wants to avoid as much hurt as possible. I just don't think that not watching the show is the best way to go about that. He's said before that he wants to learn from past Bachelor/ette couples, and do what they (the successful ones) did right. So he should learn from Trista and Ryan and do what they did. Which was watch the shows and talk a LOT. It's all about communication. Trista said Ryan had a really hard time watching the shows and they had to have long conversations about it. But he did watch and they got through it and after the show was done airing, they were ready to move on and never talked about it again.

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! 1) Jason wants everyone to be happy - especially with him ... all the time. He says nothing negative, he loves everyone ... wants to be in the secret club with each of them. What is he looking for? The homecoming queen? Miss Popularity? 2) Jason is having the time of his life - again - and loving being Lord of the Harem. He keeps everyone happy until the execution. Talk about mixed signals! 3) The Bachelor has enough control of what he will and will not do to alter the direction of the entire show. He just has to reach down deep and get his head back into the daylight and reevaluate his personal moral compass. 4) No more retreads. Deanna and Jason and Bob and Jen are perfect examples of why it doesn't work. I have no clue why it worked for Trista and Mer. 5) The current editors are so inept they have to resort to creating conflict themselves to keep this show from being a snooze. Somebody drag Mike Fleiss back from his current projects to save this! Finally and most important: 6) Jason and his chosen should be watching the progression of their love story together, not hiding it. If it is so painful, what does that say about the person causing the pain? This is their personal love story. They are going to be together forever and ever. They should be revelling in the journey that brought them together. And if they cannot do that, then perhaps the ought to rethink their commitment.

She only "joined in on some of the talk about the other girls" once in the whole show. And it was not negative. She was in a bedroom with Stephanie, Lauren and Shannon. And they were talking about Natalie and whether or not she would come back. Stephanie said she thinks he's physically attracted to her and Melissa agreed. And noted how they kept touching each other and how he had his eyes locked in on her. And that they were "all giggles" before they left. She was just stating it matter-of-exactly. I didn't get that she was jealous or insecure about it. And then she agreed with everyone else in the room that Natalie would come back. I thought it was similar to how Jason told the other guys last season about how different Deanna was when she was around Graham. Both Jason and Melissa noticed the Bachelor/Bachelorette's body language when they were around the other guys/girls.

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! The moaning....how could you forget Tina Fab?? They both later said that was nothing, Of course they want you to think there was moaning....and more! We don't know if Jason advised his F1 to not watch, and if he did, why & what let up to it. And we'll probably never know. I highly doubt out of the clear blue, he said "don't watch".
