Lauren could have very politely said, "you know, I'd rather not talk about the others with you. Lets focus on us". IMO she did herself in. ![]() | |

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! He more than likely asked more than just what was shown. Remember, we aren't shown everything. Who knows, maybe he did ask but TPTB didn't want to show?????

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! I don't think so I think Jason was putting the girls on the spot saying he really needed their help, just about any girl is going to try to help, though changing the direction of the conversation would have been smarter on Lauren's part, but I do think she is genuinely afraid of Megan. I do think it was a producer driven ploy to save a very boring night of tv otherwise |

I suspect he got zilch, zero out of Jillian. I think he had to reassure Melissa that he understood she wasn't in on it, etc. On the other hand, we saw his questioning of Lauren because it further established what kind of (edited) character she has ( 2 faced) which gives us a sub-conscious reason for accepting why he rejects her when he does. It furthered Naomi's storyline ( which is almost non-existent considering she is F4) to show him questioning her and to have her flat out tell him that she wanted her time with him instead of talking about the other girls. (Her story really does have to get going sometime)

but we KNOW he asked 3 girls (Naomi, Molly and Lauren - who finally spilled the beans to him) But Molly was a bit of a troublemaker by telling all the girls in the living room that Natalie had named names, which she did not.....hmmmmm, this F2 girl is very interesting indeed.

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! This is just a random thought, since I am relative new to edit analysis. It's been said that the F1 analysis is mostly very positive. Assuming that the F1 positive edit is to make the "long-term romance/love discovered on a TV show" believable, an unfortunate side effect is that the main character doesn't get to see the negative side of the F1 (as aired on the show). And that's not to mention everything that ended up on the cutting room floor. ![]() I would really love to hear feedback from the Bach/ettes (the main characters) about their thoughts after watching the episodes, especially their thoughts on the F1-F4. Obviously this is something only their close friends and family get to hear (until the book comes out). ![]() |

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! Last night's episode was awful! IMO. I totally lost interest in the second hour. Do the producers/editors really think women enjoy watching cat-fights more than romance? Regarding the editing: Jason : Last night is the first time I don't really feel for him. I agree with other posters that Jason is a pleaser, so maybe he wanted to please the producers and the women too much. To me, he kissed too many in the same setting, and he asked too many questions about the drama inside the house and missed the opportunities to get to know the women better. Maybe his mind was already set up? Hopefully, he will redeem himself by getting rid of all the drama queens and trouble makers. Melissa: I agree she did not get the perfect edit last night; however, I think it showed some different sides of Melissa. She told Jason she's hard on herself, she was shown happy for Jillian's rose, she seemed friendly with Naomi, Shannon, and Molly, so she's well-liked. Next week, we are going to see a vulnerable side of her, which shows that she's more than a bubbly cheerleader. I was disappointed, but not surprised, her kiss with Jason was not shown, too revealing, maybe? But their chemistry was still undeniable, the way they were sitting so close and Jason rubbed her legs show the intimacy that I don't see with others. Also, in one of her PIs, she said something about the only diamond she cares about it the one on her ring finger - foreshadow? Jillian: I see they are very comfortable with each other, although I feel their jumping on the bed is kind of odd (ducking from tomatoes thrown my way). Is her comment "I don't want to be the flavor of the week" another foreshadow? Shannon: poor girl. Although she's portrayed stalker-ish, she really is harmless, and sweet in a kind of nerdy way, IMO. I love the outtake of her impersonating others, it shows she's fun to be with. Oddly, I find her endearing; you can't say she's not there for the right reason. |

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! I really don't think Jason should have put the girls on the spot and given them the opportunity to "rat" each other out, but at the same time I can totally understand his concern. Of course it makes him nervous that he might not be seeing the "true" side of some of these girls because they are on their best behavior when they're with him. I don't really think he thought about that until Natalie opened her mouth. We have to remember he's not only looking for someone to be with but this person will also be part of his son's life and because of that I think he is warranted in finding out who causes drama. I wouldn't want my son to be around a person like that. He's looking for a positive person to be in his son's life not a Drama Queen! |
