| Re: What's up with that edit??!! I remember hearing the comment as well about Jason's wife not being ready to be a wife and mother, but I believe it came from a poster on this or another board who claimed to know the family. Whether it's true or not, who knows, but it's possible she may have been overwhelmed initially when Tyler was born, left the marriage to do her own thing, and has since gotten some perspective and maturity on the situation and is back in her child's life. It seems like they (Jason and his ex) have worked things out and Ty certainly appears to be a happy well adjusted child, so good for them. |

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! I think Jason is very good at spinning his comments to his own advantage. I also think he is very good at engineering a situation so he reflects well and the outcome is also to his advantage. His social realtions skills are well honed and serve him well in business and personal relationships. Everyone loves Jason - they just don't realize they have been diverted until too late.

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! If you go to you tube and search Jason Date With DeAnna Part2 The Bachelorette wk3 + her gift, you'll see where he tells her he is a single dad, and how is wife went in a different direction. It starts at about 1:10. I think so much went around abouthim, it is hard to remember what he really said & what was rumor.

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! Nutty I went back and watched that one. I still do remember him saying that his ex decided that she did not want to be a mother and a wife. Like I said, he may not have said it to Deanna but he said it to someone at some time during last season. It may have been to the other guys when he was explaining that he was single dad. It may have been during a PI. But he did say it. |

I'm not saying he didn't say it. I don't remember the exact wording. I do know that on boards, things get told and retold and our way of phrasing things becomes the way we remember it, even if the original phrase was different. Anything is possible. | |

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! That is because conflict resolution is the F1 edit of the risk/reward vs safety edit. In Travis/Sara; Andrew/Jen seasons you had a good v. evil edit and in PLo/Jen season you have the nice girl v. best girl for him edit. Neither one of these F1's have to have conflict resolution, in the first one she has too have clean edit, be loved by America eetc and the the other she needs to be more compatible than the F2. They can do conflict/resolution in these edits but they don't have to. In seasons like this one and Andy/Tessa; Meredith/Ian etc, conflict and resolution are essential to the storyline of F1 and lack thereof essential for F2 and F3.
