All of a sudden, to a group of men who have who have viewed this scene she is going to be the whole package - the entire enchilada. What will happen is Jason won't want her, but to all of those other guys, "his loss is their gain." That is about the only thing that really makes a lot of sense out of that overexposed scene.

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! The edit, as I saw it, owned up to its promise tonight with the ATFR disclosures. Melissa's insecurity storyline ebbed during the actual FRC then racheted up again post FRC to a climax at the ATFR 1. Jason's conflicted storyline rises right on through the FRC and culminates at the AFTR 1. Molly's competitive storyline seemed to end at the FRC, but began to rise again at the AFTR 1 and culminated at the AFTR 2. Jillian's friend storyline (even after benefits) was mellow enough to keep her fanbase and rocket her to favor as the next Bachelorette. The romantic me really wanted to see a True Love story this time around; but the cynical me reminded that this is The Bachelor. No love stories, only stories of conflict which are supposed to be more life-like. I guess I need to read fiction to get a real love story. I feel for Jillian who is outwardly strong, but inwardly soft. I hope her next storyline rises to a satisfactory conclusion for both her and her audience.

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! Not anymore. Not anymore. I feel like I've been a contributor to this monster for watching since Bachelor 1. And this is the 13th. A fitting, unlucky number on which to close this chapter of what used to be entertainment. I'm embarrassed. |
