This has probably been mentioned already; I'm just catching up with miscellaneous threads...

The F1 has never before been shown on a bed for the Fantasy Dates. Both Molly and Melissa were. Jillian, too, I think. Can't remember right now. Guess they covered their bases but good this time.

Well, Jason & Jillian jumped up and down on a bed at the Keep A Breast date , but actually we didn't even get to see Jillian's suite.

Best suite according to who. Maybe on their criteria Molly did get the best suite. she surely got the rose petals. - F1

Two significant things I noticed. When Jason drew a picture of Molly, He gave her a rose and she was surounded with red hearts. This says a lot. Her smile and her eyes captured him. He did not have to put the hearts and that many but he did.

Also Natalie speaking to Molly in the kitchen about having her back etc. There already was something some had seen concerning Jason and Molly.

My feeling is we think we know how the show should run but the producers may decide to change the format whenever they want and they just did. Melissa had the two dates because my feeling is she was the producer choise. Many people seemed to be happy that she was the front runner irregardles of whether it was love or producer driven. Maybe Jason was encouraged toward Melissa just as Deanna was encouraged toward Jesse. Unfortuneatly something happen right after the frc and Jason must have stood his ground to get Molly. The producers grew a brian and saw how they could milk it for ratings. Afterall the contestants were still on contract and anything was game. so they continued filming. At the time of edit, all this had played out so they just edited as usual with the F1, F2 and F3. Only they gave us the pinky ring and freckle sc. Blinded by that, most viewers saw things differently from what it was, even though the sc actually gave us all the right clues we just did not want to know or see it because we thought we already knew, that it was Melissa for F1 and we really did not want that to change. Great TV ..ratings....another season........the show goes on.

Feels like the viewers have just been punked!

The thing about Molly is her edit has been the exact opposite of what an F1 would get. The main thing about Molly is she has been, for lack of a better word, the opposite of a Rules girl. She cut in on Racquel's salsa dancing lesson, she cut in on another woman's time with him at the cocktail party when she already had a rose, she 'spent the night' early on, she took him away from the pool party to show him her secret talent of kissing. Most of all, she 'asked' him to spend the night with her even though she KNEW he'd be asking her. Then we have CH saying in his blog that Jason worried about her feelings for him--despite her having constantly initiated their spending time together.

I can not figure out the excessive "concern over Melissa's parents" storyline. I mean it's not as if they were going out in a normal situation and Jason said "I'd like to take your parents out for dinner on Saturday" and they declined. All they did was decline to be on a reality television show. Nobody with any sense is going to see that as weird or abnormal. It's not a matter of Mel's family saying "we don't care who you're seeing" but rather "we don't want to be on TV, in a situation known to be edited and manipulated when shown on TV, and possibly embarassed."

You see there are several odd things going on here. Molly is shown in the 16th spot which is that #15-17 slot that several past F1s have been in. She is standing in the right hand position in the lineup which is Shayne's and Jesse's slot, she gets Jesse's call out order, she gets the rose petals ( which could be the production crew's little touch). However, when we get to the FD, even though it may not have looked it, Melissa's suite is the one advertised as the area's most luxurious, and she is then called out in the #1 position. I think you had it all along but you may have let the Melissa fans get to you. Everything in the edit pointed to Molly as F1. Remember the edit was done after filming was over so at that time tptb knew who the real F1 was. I was puzzled why they showed Melissa's breast (even in a cast), defineatly not F1 material. Her sensuality and great physical chemistry with Jason. More F2 edit. Her starting to tell Jason she was DCC (not relevant if not interested in media) and in the next breath says I want to be a kindergaten teacher - Ty's age group. VERY suspicious. On every episode she was getting the F2 edit. I tried so hard to find her in F1 but there were too many sc's and situations that disqualified her as F1. It it quite unfortuneate because I am sure we could have figured something up earlier if we did not have that much bullying from the Melissa fans. It was right there before us and we kept saying it. I really hope next season there will be a separate thread for sleuthing and another for the fans. Because as we have seen, listening to fans can side track or make us see everything through Melissa (fan)tinted glasses.

The F1 gets a lot of screen time but remains hidden. we see a connection with Jason though it is not flaunted. Rememeber Jason cut in to speak to Deanna in b4 so he understands where Molly is coming from. Just like him. In B4 and before filming and the promo after filming, Jason stressed the importance of family. Maybe to some it is not important but to him and also to Molly it is. Generally same values

Actually that is what I feel. Mel was a producer choise and he went along till he fell in love. It is possible by the fd he was battling with tptb about choosing Molly. He had to go with them, then afther the frc Mel gave him a break by deciding she wanted to wait etc. Maybe if Mel had waited a week or so things may have been different. He stays with Mel for 3 months as per contract then sees if Molly will take him back, or like Deanna move to other pastures. But, something happened to give him a bargaining hand. We will find out. It has been hinted on the board but we need to see it to fully understand exactly how he was able to turn everything around.
