I pulled my post over from the Media Thread because it also belongs here. From his statement on the wedding site interview, you can see how the edit will change...how they will spin it.

Yeah, I noticed his change of tune from when he was first engaged. At first it was someone that had the qualities of DeAnna, but also wanted to make sure that she got to know everyone in the room and be a caring person.

I dont' know if it has been discussed before, but, Bloomers, what's your take on the fact that Melissa and Molly were never on the same group dates?
Interesting Molly was not on the GH date where all the girls got emotional, do you think because Jason favored her at that point and wanted to spare her feelings?
One more thing that I've been thinking: Molly was dateless on one episode (Keep a Breast?), right? Remember in one of his interviews, Jason defended this decision by saying "because I already knew them well enough" (paraphrasing), you think he meant Molly in particular?
Little tidbits to make you go humm.... , or am I losing my mind?

Usually, it's the rose petals on the bed that symbolize "love." The most expensive FD symbolize F1. Normally, the Show's lovestory leads to the F1 getting both the most expensive FD AND the rose petals. The way they edited this Show, you see the distinct difference between the one he loves and the one he chose as F1, for the fake engagement. It appears that Tptb wasn't really interested in Jason "real" lovestory, just the Jason Melissa lovestory that they created.

When he was watching the 3 videos b/f the RC, you could see his shoulders and Body language change when Molly said, after our date I know I am madly in love with you, his eyes shut and his reaction was weird. almost like a....shew...she said it, or darn, I was hoping that wasn't it. or something.

In past shows, the bolded statement would happen to the F1. In other words, if Melissa had been Jason's true F1, then we would have seen it looking like Ty didn't take to Melissa, but would love Molly. This is all part of the "shock" value that tptb use sooo often.

I don't remember seeing it mentioned but it might be among all these thousands of posts. In a pre-season commercial (at least I think it was preseason) Jason said that he had been hurt by Deanna but when he was approached by TB he decided to "take a leap of faith" and put his heart out there again.

Then on the bungee jump with Molly she says "I am taking a leap of faith with Jason."

IMO, this is when the plans for the "fake" engagement came into play.
