Melissa wears that pinky ring all the time. Every picture I've seen that shows her hands includes it. It seems really important to her, and I know it's DCC related. My thought is that on a day like the FRC day, when a proposal is possibly yours for the taking and a shiny, bright new diamond ring to boot, you'd keep your hands beautifully free of costume type jewelry, to make the new one really stand out... now if the ring (her pinky ring) was really important to her (and something she never takes off is obviously) then she'd keep it on. But if someone else just wears it as costume jewelry, I'd think they'd be less inclined to wear it on such an important day. Just my two cents for whatever it's worth. LOL

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! Wasn't the F1 known WAY before the previews came out? I don't think that Fleiss necessarily let the cat out of the bag--someone close to the situation let the cat out of the bag--at least for the people who follow the show on message boards.

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! bevorules and FairyTaleLove, I really like your insight! (as well as all the other sleuthers') My interests in the editting are self-defense from being a gullible viewer, and an avid fascination in the production side of it (and human nature). I've said for years and years that there is no such thing as a "reality" television show. It can't be "real reality" when people know that there are cameras running. Maybe "Candid Camera" and its copycat shows, but then I don't like spying cameras (but aren't they are, really?). But wait, reality happens every day, even with unknown cameras running, some with innocent motives, some more sinister. I realize that I am in conflict. ![]() |

You know what they say about payback. ![]() Take that, Fleiss, for the way that you treated us last season with that horribly screwed up edit. ![]()

| Re: What's up with that edit??!! I forgot to add that it looks like Molly tend to throw herself at him in coming epi's and her tendancy to "cut in" if you will is very Bevin-esque. They might clean her up some but she will definitely get more negative edit than Mel in either edit pattern as the F2 usually does. If they don't make her purely witchy right away (Kirsten, Chelsea, Sara W and Krisily, and Moana) than I think they will build the risk with Melissa and somehow make Molly more of a "sure thing" to make her the "safe" choice knowing that she definitely would commit (like Bevin.) In good v evil you can have sure thing with F1 and hesitancy with evil as long as you have the stark contrasts. That's what makes that edit in play. Clearest example of this edit was way in the beginning in season 3 with Jen v Kirsten and also Shayne v Chelsea. sorry for the long posts y'all. I have studied this a long time and am keeping notes to see what emerges this time. BTW beware of the "false edit" Fleiss and his minions have used it three seasons in a row and even I 9who was right every year going into Brad season was fooled. I had Deanna, Amanda and Jason winning. He will sometimes disguise real edit behind a false one and he is very tricky with it. The good thing about this year is we have good SC's of FRC to be right with so finding true edit pattern through the false layers should be easy.

I didn't think Jesse would "win", missed 1 or 2 episodes (but caught up on them online). Jesse really seems like he has a great heart; I loved it when his voice would get so soft and tender. I don't know if his birthday morning heart-shaped pancakes (made by DeAnna at the mansion) are a true story or not, but if so and even if not, I think that many of the alleged antics by other contestants (here on this board) are based in jealousy. Oh, to have been a fly on the wall... I still remember how after DeAnna left Jesse's room when he showed her the photo album, she started walking down the hall but came running back for another kiss. If that was staged, oh well. ![]()
