Think Shayne: We had that spoiled brat scene at the Casino which was a real doozy of a negative character slant for her to overcome. However, from that point on we began to see her become a much more positive person in the house and to Matt. She actually appeared to be cheerful and sweet.

Re Shayne and posters comparing her to Melissa. I just don't see it. I think there is a huge difference betweens Shayne's spoiled/entitled Hollyweird edit and Mel's insecure unlucky in love edit.

Not sure I could root for anyone else. The only person I really even like remotely is Naomi and I don't even know why. Melissa is just showing the emotion that any normal girl would after seeing the man she might be falling for kissing so many other women.

richmond - I'm neither a Melissa supporter, or non supporter and couldn't care less who he chooses in the end. Her edit last night did nothing but confuse me more as to why they're editing F1 this way......she said she was 'over it now' ..... and i hope she is.

Oh yes! I absolutely think Jason took the opportunity to kiss and cuddle in the tent! But the added moaning and slurpy kiss noises were just too much IMO and just scream EDIT to me.

I can't imagine any woman that would not be feeling insecurities in the situation these are in. IMO we have seen flashes of insecurity in them all, just more of the ones TPTB want us to see. I'd also mention that these women are in their 20's (most of them), and I think it's appropriate for them to still have a little personal growth ahead of them.

As far as Melissa being too young, yada, yada, yada...the whole immature thing is rediculous. Mel is going to be exactly the same bubbly, fun person at 60...that is who she is, and I don't see how that affects maturity. Just my opinion.

Ye s! Finally someone posts what I have believed all along. It's her personality to be funny and bubbly and young!! I am 47 and still climb trees, sit on the floor, slide down slides at the park, swing on swings, zipline, jump out of planes, jump in moon walks, go to the skating rink and listen to rap music. She'll be young forever. My five children were raised with a strict and funloving Mother. You CAN be both.

Just got caught up with the posts, and I agree with your view of Molly. Although I liked her much better last night, there were some things that didn't seem genuine. Someone with a better memory can correct me, but I swear Deanna said almost the exact thing about Jason when Molly talked about not having to wonder what kind of a dad he was because she could already see it - something about a crystal ball. Someone mentioned that Jason's jaw clenched when she was saying that. Maybe he remembered too?

I am a little concerned about Melissa's edit, though. I thought they went overboard on the jealousy thing last night, but at least it ended with their sweet conversation at the after party.

Sorry, to be playing the devil's advocate, but if you had seen this same type of behavior exhibited by one of the other girls, let's say Molly (since she seems to be the underdog) would you still say that? What would you think then?

On the same note...I'd guess that would make me the devil's, devil's advocate...Molly wasn't on that date, so let me pick someone else...say, Naomi...who we know had a melt down (check CH's blog for that one) and most of the other girls were unhappy (also mentioned on his blog) They just showed us more of Melissa. Edit!!!!
