there was the Jilly/Jason convo and kiss (after the GH date) that they didn't show us. Jilly's story was completely backburnered last night while Stephanie, Molly and Melissa's came straight to the front.

Melissa's edit baffles me a little. For a F1 she's not being very likable. She's kind of annoying and I don't see her being a good match for Daddy Jason.

Completely agree with you, boomer lady. I thought the GH date was manipulated to draw out and put her (apparently massive) insecurities on display for viewers, and Jason. Quite unflattering. By the end there was an attempt to cast it as a "scary" "phase" she had moved beyond, but I was unimpressed with the phase.

Jillian was back burned. Maybe they recognize that she has vaulted to Fan Favorite over Molly, and put in a course correction. Clearly the promo shots showed a (nice, it appeared) conversation outside that was cut at the last minute.

I agree. In addition to the "moaning" sounds ( which I totally believe were spliced in), we heard smooching sounds too. But I'm sure they had a camera crew with them right outside the door all night - or at least some crew. Maybe they did leave them alone - I don't know. They had a chance to talk and get to know each other and it looked to me like Jason liked what she said. He kissed her goodbye the next morning too. I think, at this point, he's quite taken with her --if he hasn't made up his mind yet!

ITA! I want so badly to like Melissa. I'm sure she's a wonderful lady. But last night her PI's really made it seem as though her character was climaxing. Normally only ladies who get sent home get that much screen time saying what she said. I think I love him, I don't want it to be one-sided, this is real. All of those things are really great to say, but she wasn't as likeable as they could have made her. Chris Harris said she was "sweet" in his blog, but I didn't get sweet. I got Shayne. She actually reminded me of Shayne...and for me that's not a good thing. I think if I have to endure another 4 episodes of her insecurities I'll be ready to say buh-bye bachelor when this is over!

ITA....but Naomi on the other hand. . . well . . .let's just say she managed to capitalize on the lip locking moments!!!

and those lips brought her way up to speed with on the Jason odemeter.

Last night was interesting to say the least. The looks on their faces when he didn't give out that final rose were priceless. Shannon held it together much better than I thought which was very odd after her tragic pathetic soap opera performance on the roof top. I am sure she is kicking herself.

The missed kiss...the napkin stuck to her teeth. . . her smeared lip gloss. . . I was dying in inside for her . . . .so embarrassing.

They deliberately left out in the edit that scene in those screencaps where we saw Jason and Jillian sitting outside looking up at the stars and then kissing which means that the editors didn't want to feed the physical connection of their storyline last night.

Instead, they included her scene in that outrageous wig which was funny, and in which you could tell they both had a blast acting out.

(BTW, I think she could do a humorous parady of Mae West.)

Also, I thought this edited part was telling if we view Jillian as the F3 friend (paraphrasing): "I call you 'dude'; not to your face!

Melissa's edit is making her seem a little immature - and that's what I don't get. But she is Jason's "type" - dark hair, dark eyes. Even one of the girls commented on his type last night. How often has someone married somebody who is completely the opposite of their type - I did!

I know - it's Molly - TPTB made her dye her hair brown and add some freckles to her arm!

I agree. I feel like I'm watching a salesperson doing a pitch from a script when he and Molly are together. She opens well and confidently, answers questions as if she's referencing a features and benefits slide in Powerpoint and closes with a kiss and a smile. However, I have noticed that she never really offers any underlying substance in her replies to his questions.

Interesting observations. The F1 that was shown to have massive insecurities through the entire show was Tessa. Many here loved Tessa, but then again, she was not a perky, emotive former cheerleader.

TPTB must create doubt about the F1 and they are with the insecurities they've shown in Melissa. If they only showed her wonderful qualities, we would hear complaints that she is "too perfect" and wonder what the producers are hiding.

Jillian has been placed on the back burner for now. We saw a ton of her interacting with Jason and TPTB covered all the major points: fun side, some physical connection, talk about serious issues. Next ~ on to the next one that is in the final four. Now they are exploring Naomi.

The F1 is never perfect. She must only be perfect for Jason.
