I am going to take a stab at seeing if I can figure out at this point in the edit how Mollie got to F2.

Even though it is annoying to some readers to have so many actions significantly identified and labeled as intentional literary devices used by the editors to drive their storyline, the Bachelor is, nevertheless, a drama (ok soap opera ). As in other literary genre , we are going to see those elements develop the characters and drive the storyline.

Last night I began to see how the editors may be attempting to use parallelism with Molly's F2 edit to Jason's F2 edit in DeAnna's season. There are a few things that are going to run side by side ( similar) in their edit ( to this point) at least.

Meet and Greet: Jason engages DeAnna with something personal with which she can identify and remember him. DeAnna says to him, "We're Greek, are we?"

By showing Jason the former golf pro her swing and challenging him to show her his, Molly makes that instant connection by tapping into something that we know has been very meaningful in Jason’s life.

Last night he mentions the golf comment on their 1-1.

During DeAnna's Meet and Greet cocktail party, Jason politely cuts in on one of the guys, and we see him swing dancing with DeAnna.

During Jason's Meet and Greet cocktail party, Molly politely cuts in on Raquel, and we see Molly dance some kind of slow something with Jason.

Both Molly and Jason are edited as showing compassion and concern during their 1-1 with DeAnna and Jason at the Meet and Greet cocktail parties as opposed to doing tricks or telling unusual things about their lives, etc., as we commonly see from other contestants.

On their 1-1, DeAnna and Jason have a romantic little dinner, and then they go and watch the stars at the Observatory.

On their 1-1 Jason and Molly have a romantic little picnic, and then they go outside and watch the stars.

Jason comments about Molly's eyes and the star ( something) quality in them. He says he could get lost in them, but he questions whether it is Molly's (star something eyes), or is there anything else there?

On the Observatory Date under the stars with DeAnna, Jason brings up the fact that he is a divorced man with a child.

On his camping date under the stars with Molly, Jason brings up the issue of how does Molly feel about being with a divorced man with a chid?


So far Molly F2's edit is paralleling Jason's F2 edit in DeAnna's season.

A couple of notes:

Jason does find Molly attractive, fun and easygoing. He is physically attracted to her, but I have an uneasy feeling that he may not quite hold her in the highest regards as he might. Is it too easy?
Have we ever seen anybody deliberately spend the whole night like that before the Fantasy Dates, and have we ever seen the edit where they closed off the area for privacy when it wasn't a Fantasy Date?

When she was telling him how she could accept Ty because Ty was a part of him, it sounded good to me, but whatever she said right after that, I noticed his jaw clenched hard as if in reaction. He then eased his jaw and reached over and kissed her. I can't be certain, but my first thought was that something maybe didn’t ring true, or something must have been edited out.

He knew what the date was going to be - he hand-picked Molly. But I think he likes her more than she likes him.

I can't say for certain, but I believe Travis and Sarah CAnada got to spend the night together in the tent after she got he rose on the 2:1 date.

Quite frankly?? First, I think those "contest" rose dates are orchestrated. There is absolutely no way that Jesse's song was best last year, but Jesse needed a date, so Jesse won. Molly's wasn't the best either, but Molly needed a date, and hers was cute, so Molly won. It wouldn't have matter, I don't think, even if Molly's had completely sucked. She would have won based on her willingness to get up and give it the "good old college try," so to speak. The result would have been the same; the rationale would have been different.

My uneasiness comes in on the way Molly has been edited spending the night, etc. Would Jillian have been asked to spend the whole night in the tent, shown with the flap closed, and edited with moaning sounded and coming home in Jason's clothes with her own clothes nowhere in sight?
What about the classy Stephanie or the uptight Nikki from whom virtue seems to exude?

We saw Molly put herself out there when she told Jason that she was known for being a good kisser. She then sexually challenges him: Did he want to try it and see? I believe she may have been set up as the possibly edited "easy" target who spends the night on a first date with a man who is dating 8 other women, etc.

After last night, and even with all of the sleuthers' proof, I'm still not trusting Fleiss. Why would he give definite proof it's a brunette,and then have Molly appear to be F2? That eliminates the suspense of the final rose ceremony. Every time someone mentions the chemistry with Melissa - and I see that too - I remember the chemistry Andy had with Bevin. Why are they showcasing Melissa so much?

I like all the girls. And Jason - so much better than on DeAnna's season (but SHE wasn't one of my favorites).

True, you can't deny the attraction with Melissa and Jason, but I see a lot of Tessa in Jillian!

Good Girl vs Bad Girl. Who will Jason pick? This is ABC and Fleiss creating drama. In his blog he said they spent the first part of the eveing decorating their fast food wrappers. That sounds like something he'd do with Ty. Not a date.

Even IF Molly was/is being "set up " to be the "easy target", she certainly brings some of that edit upon herself. By returning home in the AM in Jason's clothes, and letting everyone know that she "just got in".."didn't get any sleep"..and was "up all night"...she is implying "sexual" things to the other girls.
